What's not to love. A Nazi goon with his hands up getting searched buy some French Resistance. The only downside his hat doesn't come with the kit. Seriously I wanted that hat for my diorama.

Great historical niche!

After 15 years, started getting interested in modeling again. But didn't want to go back to aircraft/armor because I knew I'd lose what little modeling mojo I had. Wondered if anyone was doing zombie/apocalypse type dioramas because that seems quite popular on tv and in the movies now. Was surprised how many there are along with drawings of cities, towns, people, etc. via Google and Pininterest. Hello zombie/apocalypse dioramas.What armor/figures I have are basically WW 2 & some Vietnam stuff. Started looking for civilian figures and there simply aren't too many. What plastic figures are available are usually dressed in the 1940's/1950's time period, while resin figures are high. When you're looking at having a dozen or so figures in one diorama, that can be expensive. The majority of my dioramas will be civilian oriented.When I saw these figures, bought 3 sets because with little modification, they can be painted to match what people are wearing today. First problem is the womans legs. You have to really push them up inside the dress, but w/too much pressure, you'll pop the 2 piece skirt apart. Next problem is she's really tall. She's noticeably taller than a 1/35th scale Tamiya WW 2 U.S. soldier and a German figure that I think came from Italeri. The Italeri figure is a bit taller than the U.S. figure. Also going to try and change the position of her legs and arms so she's just not standing there.Worse part of the kit is the head to torso attachment. The head has part of the neck molded to it, while the rest of the neck is molded to the torso. This leaves you a difficult seam line to fill/sand. Looking at putting the heads on a pin, the using Milliput/Green stuff, make me a neck. Remove the neck that's on the torso and put the new head/neck onto the torso. And if you want, you can always ream out the neck on the torso and add a resin head.Am I glad I bought them? Yes. Do I recommend them? Yes. Just beware of the problems I see with these figures.Looking at handling the womans height 3 different ways. Cut out the top part of the skirt the torso's suppose to be glued onto so the legs will be glue directly to the torso. Other option is leave the skirt off, cut about 1/16th of an inch from the top part of the legs so she's a bit shorter, then paint pants on her. Or make pants using 2 part epoxy such Milliput or Green Stuff.This is an update on my review. Watched a Youtube kit review and commented to the poster about these figures. Find out that the Tamiya figures are too short. Used 2 1/35th scale rulers to measure the Tamiya, Italeri(?) German & woman figures. Tamiya figure measures out to just under 5 1/2' feet tall, while the Italeri German & woman are at 6'. That the poster glued each skirt half to a leg, then glued the pieces together. Don't know if ALL military figures are short or not, but can modify them so they look like teenagers/short adults. Also according to the Youtube poster, Tamiya's heads/hands are too small, but they look okay to me. Poster's also going to replace the heads with resin ones.

Nice detail on figures fair price

I love Master Box figures. Ratio price-quality is fantastic. Prices are very competitive if you think another brands are nearly twice more expensive. Figure poses are very dramatic and helps a lot when you like to tell a history in a small diorama
