I purchased this cutting tool a few days ago. I am planning to make a bunch of potholders for Christmas presents this year. This means lots of fabric cutting. I was skeptical about this tool but after using it, I am totally impressed!! It has to be one of the best sewing tools I have ever purchased. It cuts the fabric like butter. I was able to cut through EIGHT layers of cotton batting with no issue. EIGHT! Seen in my picture, you can see how many squares of batting I had to cut. Took me less than 30 minutes, a task that normally would have taken forever and left me with a sore hand.My only complaint is that this thing is loud as heck. It sounds like my husband's Milwaukee multi tool. But you know what, I deserve to have loud annoying power tools too!!If you have a need to cut large quantity of fabric, this is the tool for you.

This s the second one I have bought (same brand and style). My first one was destroyed in a fire. It is a little loud, but worth it for how easy it is to use and cut fabric.

OMG ......what a fabulous tool. It cuts through everything and is FUN to use . Best product I ever purchased. Cuts fabric ,boxes, sheets of metal..cut a rug that was too big. Have never been disapointed every time i have used it. Bought another one to keep in my garage.

I have only had these for a short time but they operate flawlessly. The power is so much better than I expected. Like anything new there is an adjustment period. I am a seamstress with arthritis and have to take medication if I will be sewing a lot. These enable me to sew w/o medication(insert happy dance here)!! They are comfortable to hold and I see no safety issues with no children in my house. If I did I would consider detaching the head or battery pack when not in use for inquisitive littles!They are a great value for me. I wish I had purchased sooner! It is an uplifting to support US small businesses.

I bought these electric scissors because I had been doing a lot of fabric cutting. So much so that I feel like I have some nerve damage in my hand. The reviews on these scissors were good. They were right. These are a life saver. Very easy to use. Kept a full charge the whole time I was using them, about 2 hours. They are a bit loud. But I can easily overlook that. I even cut some thick plastic to make a templet with them. There is a bit of a learning curve when trying to cut fabric on a small curve. But it's very doable. I would definitely buy them again.

They work great. Easy on the hands, light and cut well. HOWEVER, they are VERY Loud. I will need to wear ear plugs - honestly. It would be a fabulous product if they were only quieter.

These have streamlined my sewing! I cut a lot of fabric for sewing and other crafts. These scissors cut through multiple layers of fabric seamlessly. It took a little time to get the hang of anchoring my fabric so it doesn't move while cutting. As fast as these work, I found that it's easier to take time and move slowly along the cut line. I like to hold the fabric with a book (or something similar) on one side while pulling the fabric taut with my other hand. This provides a straight seam for theses scissors to cut. I can also cut open boxes and cardboard. This little gadget is magical; it cuts through everything! These are fairly loud, but this does not bother me at all. I haven't used them long enough to feel I need to oil them, but wouldn't be afraid to use a little sewing machine oil to keep them running smoothly. I'm totally impressed, and feel they're worth the cost if you're going to be cutting a lot of fabric.

I'm a professional seamstress mainly making cushions, and I love these scissors. They work incredibly well, making my work faster and easier. These are great for fabrics, and I was hoping they worked for Dacron batting as well. Someone in a different review said they did but I found that the scissor opening wasn't quite wide enough for the 1/2'' Dacron batting I use.But overall, I really like these. I had an issue with my first pair and Amazon wouldn't allow me to file anything or even contact the seller as I was outside my 30 day return window. But I posted a review with a video showing the problem and the company went out of their way to get a hold of me right away and resolve the issue. Thank you!
