MegaHot Wheels Bigfoot

Was Mattel kann ist das Bedrucken von Bausteinen. Wo es noch hapert ist die Bauanleitung. Diese war im Karton geknicht und ist teilweise nicht eindeutig. Das Blau hat starke Farbabweichungen. Es gibt keine richtigen Federn wie bei Lego sondern Gummiringe. Die Gummiringe sind so stark, dass der Bigfoot auseinander geht. Der Hut im Innenraum ist nicht zu klemmen. Reines Displaymodell, falls man den Platz hat. Für das Geld bietet z.B. Mould King und Lego mit Rabatten mehr.

Absolut tolles Bauerlebnis.Alles hat super gepasst und war relativ einfach zu bauen.

This is a great set for older children to build, or as a family build with younger children. It ties together two great aspects- hot wheels monster trucks (and in particular the very well known Bigfoot) with construction bricks (Lego style but made by Mega- previously Megablocks). Once made it is designed more to be a display model but is durable enough to sustain some play. The suspension works, and the steering wheel turns, and you can lift the bonnet to see the motor, so it would be a bit disappointing to just leave it on the side. There is a smaller die-cast metal model so you can see what its going to look like, but also maybe use it to distract your child when you realise you want to take over the build? It is a big model (about 25cm long) but I do think that it’s a tad expensive (although not when you compare it to Lego prices.)

Most of us will remember BigFoot and the start of a new trend in monster trucks. Big foot is recognised as the first of modern day monster trucks back in the late 70s early 80s.This set is good value for the price at just under £55 at time of review and would make a great gift for avid lego builders and model makers who like to display their models.What I love about this monster truck building set is the large easy to follow and read instructions with large pictures showing the building stages. The appropriate building pieces are also bagged into 8 bags for easy locating of the piece and step by step construction.The pieces are very similar to lego blocks and construction kits.This is a hot wheels branded monster truck and carries a good pedigree of quality being this brand.The truck once completed (which I haven't done just yet) has interactive parts such as working suspension struts and steering wheel adjusting etc.There is a fantastic smaller die cast BigFoot model car included so you'll have an idea of what your finished monster truck will look like.This is targeted at ages of 10yrs and upwards but can be enjoyed with younger children with adult supervision to improve their fine motor skills and thinking.My little boy loves monster trucks although he is only 4, this will be too hard for him to build alone he can help daddy to build it :-)A degree of patience is needed with any building kit and this has over 500 pieces so it will keep older kids or adults busy for a while.Once you get started though, it's hard to stop building and gets quite addictive.This is a super gift idea for anyone that's into monster trucks and kit building and it's a decent price. Being from the well known brand of Hotwheels you know your getting a quality product.

MEGA Hot Wheels Bigfoot was a hit in my home. My son loved it. I thought it was great that the kit included a small, official Hot Wheels, version of the truck. It allowed my son to play with it while we completed the Mega block kit to create the GIANT Bigfoot truck. I’m not going to lie, when opening the kit everything seemed a bit daunting. There where A LOT of pieces and the instruction manual is 90+ pages long! However, I quickly realized that the kit was organized in a way that made it easy to complete the build using number bags of parts that corresponded to the instructions. The instructions were AWESOME! Very clear and not confusing at all. In total, the build took about 3 hours over two evenings to complete (1.5 hours each evening) The finished product is impressive! The truck is LARGE and heavy and is constructed in a way that make it really solid! The tailgate opens and the hood does too. There is even an engine inside! The suspension also articulates thanks to thick rubber bands & real suspension architecture that is installed & built during construction. I highly recommend this toy!
