Shampoo Bars and Conditioner Set | Curl Defining, Frizz Control, Hydrating, Moisturizing, Rice Protein & Buriti Oil for Smooth, Shiny Hair

It’s my first time trying bat shampoo and conditioner and I wasn’t sure how I was going to like it but I’m in love and my curls are very happy. It takes a bit more work to get enough conditioner worked into my hair but it’s an excellent product. My curls have been more defined and last longer. I feel like my hair isn’t getting greasy as easy. Definitely converted to Bars Over Bottles!

The shampoo bar is everything! The conditioner bar, isn’t what I’m used to. It’s not as silly as other conditioners (even in bar form). The first couple times I’ve used the conditioner, I rinsed it out after a couple minutes. it did make my hair more curly, but didn’t feel soft. It felt just like hair. I used it last night and left the conditioner in my hair, since it says leave in conditioner. It seemed to make a difference. This is only my 3rd or 4th time using this brand. I have used several shampoo and conditioner bars for a couple years now. I would recommend this to others.

Ok so I had to take different pictures but I wanted to see what the shampoo and conditioner was doing in different scenarios. The first picture is just using the shampoo and conditioner and rinsing them out-no additional product. My hair was light and soft but not manageable at all. Second pic, I rinsed the shampoo and left the conditioner in like a leave in. My hair was soft, more manageable but still a little off. Third pic is rinsing both out and using my light curl defining spray from garnier-i don't recommend that. Fourth pic was rinsing both out and using my cantu leave in conditioner. I got about the same results as my normal days with tresemme and cantu. I have different color hair, grays and none of my curls like to agree at any time... So for saving the planet, it's pretty good if I keep using Cantu as well. I could also leave the conditioner in but my hair felt a little matted when I did that so I'd rather not. Good luck!

I don't do a lot of reviews, but this really deserves a five-star rating and review. I tried it yesterday morning, I washed and conditioned my hair like it says, when I rinsed the conditioner I didn't rinse it all the way out, I did it like you do the big name curly hair product conditioners. When I got out of the shower with my hair still dripping I put in a handful of the curl around or twirl around or whatever the Paul Mitchell stuff is and I wrapped it in a microfiber towel. I got ready for work, took the towel off after maybe 15 minutes, it was obviously still wet. On the way to work I scrunched it with my hands and squeezed it and all of that good stuff that you do with curly hair to try to get it to dry because it takes forever to dry. I eventually put in some olaplex leave in oil so I wouldn't have any frizz. Yesterday it was a bit heavy, I didn't really care for the texture, I could have done without the curl around or twirl around or whatever. Today, I didn't wash it, I just ran my fingers through it and got it wet to revive the curl. The picture is of today. I didn't put any other products in it. The texture is okay, I still feel product, but it's not gross. I'm also very impressed with the actual cleaning the shampoo bar did. When you have thick and curly hair you know what the thick curly hair musty smell is and how sometimes it's there even after you shampoo. There is no musty hair smell even today. I can still smell the aroma of the shampoo and conditioner. I highly recommend this stuff, I've used all of the high-end curly products that you can think of and this is probably the best that I've found to date.

I have fine, wavy/curly hair. The moisturizer in this combo was too heavy for my hair and quicly resulted in oily hair, even though I only condition my length. I'm sure it was just not the right combo for my hair.

The shampoo and conditioner are easy to use. I typically rub the shampoo on the roots like just like you would if you were washing your body with a bar of soap. Obviously, water is key for activating the soapy suds on the bar so wet it first and apply to wet hair.Rinse between shampooing and conditioning.I wet the conditioner first and apply to my wet hair. I typically do this using the "prayer hands" method. Just put the bar in one hand and leave the other hands empty and or pre lathered if you feel you need to add as much as possible. I haven't found that to be necessary, but it doesn't hurt either.If you just use the shampoo, your hair will feel kind of dry. But if you used conditioner, you won't have any issues running a comb or your fingers through it to apply your styling cream.The scent is not overpowering but if someone nozzles their nose into your hair or if the wind blows through it with someone nearby, they will smell this lovely product. So basically, the smell is subtle, but it is there.I've been using these for about a month and still have a while to go. I haven't noticed it withering away.I try to be waste conscious, and this works well, so I won't be going back to the liquid products.For reference, I have a very thick head of hair. It is a little longer than shoulder length and my curls are 3b. I typically wash my hair every day to every other day.

Worth the money! I bought this for a recent sailing trip in the caribbean. After the first use, I forgot which ones were the shampoo and conditioner, so I used both at the same time.My hair didn't feel amazing after showering at night, but it felt like it got to the salt out just fine. Brushing it took out remaining tangles. However, when I woke up the next day, I felt my dry hair and omg....it was the softest hair ever!! It was truly amazing!!These bars are VERY small. I didn't want to take a chance of running out on my trip so I bought 2, one for me and one for my husband. Never opened the second one. THESE LITTLE BARS LAST!! We were on a sailboat for 10 days, and we still had plenty of both shampoo and conditioner left at the end of our trip! I did not use a soap bag to help them last. I just moved them away from water when I wasn't using them.I ended up gifting the other unused set to a friend, because I have my bars to use up. I hope she enjoys them as much as I did!!
