Great resolution and brightness
After using an older 720P scope, this is a real step up.I also like that it's rechargeable.Well worth the money and is comparable to a much higher-priced premium tool manufacturer's scope.

Tiny in diameter, very short focal length, limited resolution but very usable
I've had a few of these types of cameras over the years, and they have improved mightily as technology gets better and smaller.Make no mistake, this is an inexpensive endoscope camera, but it is entirely usable. It comes in a small zip-open case containing the main unit, the camera, a tube of accessories, a USB charging cable and a manual. It uses USB-C for charging, great!!The camera is on the end of a long, rigid stalk, rigid enough to make it easy to thread it into far away places. Surrounding the camera are several very bright miniature LEDs, which can be varied in intensity from off to full brightness. The camera is operated with some simple buttons, which allow you to change configuration settings in the menu, take photos or videos, adjust the image, and operate the light. On the side of the unit are the power switch, a light level adjustment, and a 32 GB memory card, which it comes with! There are three accessories included, a right-angle mirror, a hook, and a magnet. Each of these screws onto the end of the camera in place of its regular guard. On the back of the main unit is a LED light which is of limited utility, but hey, it's there and it works. One of the biggest challenges using these types of cameras is orientation - because there is no "up or down" on the camera end, you are always trying to figure out what you're looking at, and which way is up. Other cameras force you to rotate the camera end around to orient yourself. This unit will rotate the image for you, simply by pressing the arrow up and down buttons. Nice! You can also mirror the image, in case you are using the right-angle mirror to view things obliquely, such as examining the bore surface of a cylinder wall. The image is relatively clear, at 1920x1080 pixel resolution. This is not a high-fidelity camera, it's meant to get the job done. You can capture images by pressing the camera button, or take video by holding it down. These are recorded to the TF card, which you can read by putting it into your computer.Unlike many other cameras of this type, the focal length is very short - you can focus on objects VERY close to the camera, which is nice - other cameras need the camera to be at least an inch away from things in order to focus on them properly. It has an internal rechargeable lithium battery, charged by plugging into a USB-C port. The battery lasts a LONG time - after over an hour of use, it was still showing full for me.There are quite a few menu options that allow adjusting screen brightness, time/date, view and delete stored images, and so on, all covered in the acceptable manual. For the price, this is a valuable tool that will save you time when you have dropped that nut down into the nether regions somewhere, need to pull wire through a wall, or look anywhere you need to see in order to perform a task.

Excellent image/video quality and a solid build
I was immediately impressed when I opened the box to find that the NIDAGE 1080P HD Endoscope is inside a very nice carrying case with handle (See pics.) I didn’t notice this in the item’s online description, but after re-reading it I see that it is mentioned, although not prominently. Inside the case, in a nice mesh compartment, is the manual. The manual does a good job of explaining the use of the device and the many menu options. The cable is permanently attached to the viewscreen which, considering the number of internal connections, is a good idea. The cable includes two attached hook-loop fastener straps which really help with cable management. I wish there was a strap or clip or magnet to secure the viewscreen to something so that you can manipulate the cable without having to hold the device at the same time. (Are you listening, NDAGE?) Although I didn’t have a need for them, the included hook and magnet accessories will certainly save the day – someday. The images are beautiful, high-quality and exactly what you need when trying to understand what is happening at the end of a cable in a small dark place ten feet away. (I’ve seen web cam images that were poorer quality than this scope provides.) I love that you have options to see end or side or both images onscreen at once! Both the end and side cameras have their own adjustable LED lighting and provide plenty of light when needed. Plus any of the images can be rotated with the push of a button. Another button will save individual images or will start/stop a video recording which could be useful. File transfers and the SD card all work flawlessly. The menu button provides all the functionality you’ll need.As is typical with this type of camera, any dirt, sludge, etc. inside whatever you’re inspecting can easily become stuck to the end camera. I used my IDAGE to inspect my rain gutters since I have mesh covers that prevent me from just looking down inside easily. I did eventually get some dirt on the end camera a couple times and had to clean it but was happy to know my rain gutters are clear. The side camera was great for checking the underside of my wood deck and ramp to make sure there were no insect nests and such like. Much better than crawling around on my fat belly.I have no problem giving a solid recommendation for this item. It is a solid performer and appears to be rugged enough for any situation. I know I’ll find plenty of uses for it.Although I received this complementary product for review, this is my honest opinion and I was in no way influenced by the vendor, Amazon, or the fact that it was provided at no cost.
