Iso the Turbo Silk Professional Tourmaline Ionic Straightener 100-220v Red

I purchased this flat iron because I wasn't sure if the one I owned was dual voltage and I was going to study abroad and desperately needed a flat iron. Other than the absence of a heat dial, the iron works great and gets the job done. I used it my entire stay in paris and never had any trouble with it and the price was unbeatable. I have very curly hair that is not that thick and i was worried that since i cannot adjust the heat it would damage my hair but honestly no significant damage was done. Now that I am back home I still use it because it doesn't make my hair frizz or curl even in humid weather.

I bought this for a trip to Asia along with a really good converter. It worked well with the converter set on high. My only complaint is no temperature control but I would recommend it for traveling outside the US for sure. And I would still use a good converter that works for heating appliances.

This straightener is by no means the worst straightener on the market, but it is not with the MRP. A list price of $250? Get out of here. For $30 or $40, its a good deal.

This iron does a good job and was a good price. I was surprised that there is no way to adjust the heat. It is just on super-high. I don't think it is worth the over-$200 list price, but is OK for $54.

I am very disappointed with this straightener. I have a conair one I bought for way less that does a better job. I have very thick hair and this just couldnt do a good job with it. Im returning it because I bought one from a mall kiosk last night that does a way better job.

I wish it had a temp adjustment so I can see how hot its gettin because I don't think its getting hot as it says it should. It takes double the time to straighten my hair with this one.

Have been using it for a month. Works well so far. Heats up fast and easy to handle. One temperature setting suits me well.
