I use this case to fly with a firearm. This case will fit a Glock 19/17, holster, mags and a couple boxes of ammo. The case is small enough to fit inside my checked bagged so that I'm not walking around the airport with an obvious gun case.Make sure you obey your local and federal laws when flying with firearms.

I am a big fan of this case. Serves my needs perfectly. One minor gripe is that the one thin foam inserts, of the three foam inserts it comes with is juuust slightly undersized and not fitted to the case. I ended up putting that pad in between the other two and cutting in the slots I needed. I did not need to purchase a third party insert to situate my gear.
