If I ever need another chair I will for sure buy more from SAMs.
I bought 3 of the lift chairs about 8 years ago for my two parents and my sister. They were heavily used every day for all these years. I still have all 3 of the chairs and my remotes finally went out. I ordered 3 more remotes because the chairs are still in great condition and it’s so much cheaper to buy the 3 remotes instead of 3 new chairs. Now that I and my older friends r using the chairs. Thank you SAMs for great lift chairs that really hold up to the hard use over the years

Works fine, but pricey
The remote was fairly easy to install and seems to be working well. The main complaint I have is the cost. Almost $100 for a remote seems REALLY out of line. We paid it because my mother, who uses the chair, is 93 and she really needs the chair and needs a remote that works basically the same as the original one.
