They work in a pinch but their termination should be deemed very temporary. Great signal loss through these things.

I use these at work for about a year and there horrible. Can go through multiples trying to get connection to an acceptable db loss waisting alot of time comparied to fusion splice method. Only recommend useing if your not paying for it and you work by the hour otherwise youll waist a day and look like a fool to your customers.

These can do a near perfect splice if you have all of the equipment, like a polisher and the correct crimp tray. Noty for use by the average person as you would not have the proper tools or accessories.
