RSHTech makes great hubs, and this one is no exception! I bought the older version of the hub last year, and I was really happy with it. They released this new one, so I decided to upgrade this past August. I've been using it for about a month, and I couldn't be happier. This hub is perfect. I'm using a 2019 HP business notebook (EliteBook). The hub plugs into any USB-C port. Over the past month, I've used the two USB-A ports for my wireless Microsoft keyboard and wireless Logitech mouse. They work perfectly with no lag or interruptions. I've also plugged in a Microsoft webcam, external HDMI monitor, SD card, and my laptop's USB-C power cable. Even with ALL the ports occupied, this hub performs perfectly.Occasionally I take out some of the things above and put in my USB-A external solid state drive (SSD) to transfer files, or my phone (a brand new Samsung Galaxy) to charge, and both work as expected. The transfer speeds on the SSD max out, which means that these USB-A ports are truly 10Gbps. The phone charges just as quickly as it does with my OEM wall charger. Awesome.Overall, I'm completely satisfied with it. It is waaaay better than the older hub. This hub is much smaller and lighter, and it's made almost completely of metal. It's so small and light it fits in my pocket. Moreover, there's only one little pinhole-sized light on it, which I prefer. And at $35, it's pretty cheap too. Highly recommended!

There are many options available for a USB C multi-port hub but you’d be hard pressed to find one better than the RSHTECH 7 in 1 USB C hub. The design and build quality are both solid and performance has been excellent. I use it with a 16” MacBook Pro and have found it excels when using an external monitor (HDMI), 100 watt Apple charger, USB C to Lightening charge cord for my iPhone 13 ProMax, AirPods Pro, USB A devices, etc. The USB C plug is metal and matches the color of my MacBook. The cable is sturdy but flexible and the port layout is logical and works well. Overall for the price this is a no brainer. You can certainly spend more but I’m not sure you get a better design or performance.

Update 12/5/22 - no longer charging my iPad while using.I’ve had this for a few weeks now, and have been putting it to the test. I had purchased an iPad Pro and wanted to be able to save pics quickly on the road to a backup, amongst other things, and this does the job and more. So far I’ve had a 256GB thumb drive, a 4TB Seagate Mac backup drive, and a memory card hooked up all at once to move files around, and have had no problem. This is exactly what I was wanting.

no sound comes through when connected to headphones

Bought this for my iPhone 15 Pro to charge, have an ssd, and an external monitor at the same time and it works great.Gets a bit hot, but not uncomfortably so, every hub will do it if you plug enough power intensive things into it

SO first thing I did was pop in my microSD card to check Crystalmark for read write speeds and the card went in too easy. Tried to grab it to fish it out but there wasn't enough room. Next thing I know it pushes the rest of the way in and BOOM........ Now my dongle rattles and I can't get my card back out unless I cut the dumb thing open. My best guess is the slot wasn't lined up with the housing or I got the internals from another dongle. At the end of the day I had a great "what the he**" moment but now I am out a 128gb micro SD card and I have to return this awful thing. I beg you to not buy this dongle. (1 hour UPDATE) pass through charging just stopped working already.

The product is well built and does its job of providing good display quality. One of my extended monitors is connected to macbook via an 8k Hdmi cable and other extended monitor is connected to macbook via this device using the another 8K hdmi cable. This device along with other connections like mouse and camera is connected using usb a ports. I dont see any difference in the quality of the display between the directly connected monitor and the monitor conected via this device.The reason for 3 stars, I had to replace my device using amazon replace since it lost connections to usb A ports one by one after initial few days. Second, every time my macbook goes to sleep and tries to wake it up, i have to unplug and plug this device back which i am not sure why i have to do it.

I’ve been searching for weeks for a usb-c hub that would allow me to use my iPhone 15 Pro Max as a proper video camera. With this hub you can shoot 4k Log ProRes, record it to an SSD, have an additional USB-C microphone input, HDMI monitor out (or ATEM/capture device), and charge all at the same time. Not all hubs are equal, this one works.

For me the main point in this device's favor is that, as promised, it charges my Android phone (charging adapter required, of course) while the phone is connected to and displaying on the TV through the HDMI port. I haven't encountered any compatability issues.And occasionally we put it to use as a USB hub for a laptop, and the other features are nice to have as well.Charging my phone through this hub is slower than usual with a run-of-the-mill charging adapter, but at least it works (no need to hunt around for a more powerful adapter if I have an adequate one nearby), and with a 45W adapter, for example, it's super-fast charging as usual, with no slowdown.Our toddler used the HDMI port as a keyhole and amazingly it still works now that I've straighted out the leads. However, I ordered another and will keep the first as a backup.

Ürün çok güzel, çok sevdim; ancak biraz ısınıyor gibi geldi. Mac kullanan arkadaşlarıma sorduğumda, onların hub'ı şarjda olmasına rağmen buz gibi kalıyormuş. Sorun çıkaracağını sanmıyorum, şu ana kadar sorunsuz kullandım.

L’ho collegato al mio iPhone 15 Pro e lo utilizzo per collegarci anche un monitor esterno con cavo hdmi, un hd esterno da 1tb ed un powerbank usb per alimentare il tutto. Funziona egregiamente e permette la trasmissione dati al mio hd esterno senza alcun problema. Forse un pochino caro ma lavora davvero alla grande!
