The School for Good and Evil #4: Quests for Glory: Now a Netflix Originals Movie Hardcover – Deckle Edge, September 19, 2017

This has been my favorite book so far in the series. I love the cliffhanger how it ends. I really wish the author didn’t put 70 pages of the next book at the end of this one but that says nothing about the book. This is the first book that didn’t make me hate Sofie lol

SPOILER ALERTSoman Chainani's empire continues with this new installment of The School For Good and Evil. Like always, the daring, flamboyant twist on your average fairy tale really cooks Disney's goose. Poor Sophie, she may be devilish, vain, and bossy, but I was sure she earned her happy ending, she really needs one by the end of the sixth book. Agatha and Tedros - the latter really has changed from being a pretentious, muscled bully - make such a cute couple. Now, before you fall asleep listening to me describe the character's love lives, let me give some serious credit to the author. Mr. Chainani really deserves to be as famous as J.K. Rowling, and I severely admire his talent of describing so well in his novels.Quests for Glory is by far the best installment in the series yet, and I look forward greatly to the fifth story. I wish the author luck with the movie.

Quests for Glory is a wild ride. As mentioned by others, the story starts off slow and I actually sat it down for a while as it was not that interesting. Why? The drama with Agatha and Tedros is ridiculously embarrassing and there is hardly anything in the beginning that speaks out for the plot other than that Tedros is a clown and his kingdom is a trash bin on fire in the depths of hell. However, I stuck it out and continued reading it to get my money's worth, and let me say it gets WAY BETTER.GIVE IT HALF TO THREE QUARTERS OF THE BOOK! I promise, the slow parts are awful, but it sets up the premise of the new story and the plot thickens before you know it. Small spoilers, but the book dives into Tedros's history and digs up his family's tinted past. Characters die and new ones pop up that will make your mouth drop. You will be rereading chapters in the beginning because the answers were yelling at you when you were not realizing it. I promise, give it a try if you enjoyed the first three. It is a bit different than the originals, but lets face it - they can't all be in the school forever and the bad guy can't be the same person (y'all, this is not Harry Potter).You just have to go in with an open mind and try to enjoy the new plot and the new enemy. All in all, I like it and am looking forward to the fifth one that I just ordered.

My daughter enjoys this series of books and was happy when I purchased this book after she read the first three in the series. Good for children who read above level (5th grade in this case) without getting into too mature of subjects.

Chainani is still doing an amazing job, and this series keeps getting better and better. The characters are all evolving continuously through good and bad times, we get to find out a lot more about some minor characters which fills out the entire story well, and all of this is tied neatly with jokes, and shocking plot twists. Get ready for a huge emotional roller coaster that will make you impatient for the rest.

My daughter loves this series. I like supporting the book stores and bought the first few at our local bookstore. However, she was tearing through them so fast I bought this package to stay ahead of her reading. The thing is this is such a good deal it's hard to pass it up... Amazon for the win.

Bought it from BOOKSGALLERY, used book but good condition however a very bent spine.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/ 5I knew it!! I knew what was happening but the way it unfolded makes me want to read the remaining books so bad, the way it ended leaves me thinking how it will unfold next.For those who wish to stop it at book 3 you do you but continuing it through and through has not left me with regret or a feeling of wasted time. I have come to love this fairy tale howevee I'd wish to see more of a relationship development between Agatha and Tedros because I feel so depraved of it.
