Stansport Hurricane High Oil Lantern (Red, 12-Inch)

I bought this as a backup emergency lamp and as a camping lamp. I have taken it camping and it was a pleasure to have. I didn't know how to properly light it which was my only complaint, but there is a lever I had noticed but largely ignored. If you raise the wick--Im not sure at what point it gets dangerous, but an inch up is a quite large bright flame. I imagine a centimeter is about the right height. It is easy to fill, it's not heavy, and by this I mean it is very lightweight. I feel like it's worth having around. It gives a nice ambiance.

Used it at the campsite. Easy to use, provides nice ambient light to intense bright light. Its a good size and looks nice. Almost antique like. Make sure it remains upright at all times or the lamp oil will spill out. Do not use indoors, as there are fumes that come out of the top.

Cute and effective if you need decorative piece or small amount if light. Definitely not for main source of light. Worth the price and they are good quality. Have ordered several for our cabin!
