I was so excited to get this mandolin, I figured that for almost $50 it had to be great, plus the reviews were great. When I got it I ohh-ed & ahh-ed over all the different settings, waffle fries y’all, I was so excited to make waffle fries!!So I grabbed a potatoe, I even peeled it to help it slide easier & instant stuck. Potatoe went not even half way & wouldn’t budge. The blades were so dull. I tried several different cuts & every one I had to force it across. The potatoe didn’t slice apart, it was all still stuck together when I tried to make regular cut fries. I then grabbed a tomatoe thinking surely this will slice & it destroyed that tomatoe. No clean slices, just mush. The slices were uneven, thick on one side & thin on the other & just torn up.I’m so sad! I had such high hopes for this thing & I really really wanted to love it but I can’t even like it. It’s going back. High cost doesn’t always mean better & watch out for reviews, always read the negative ones as well as the positive ones before buying. Maybe I just got a dull blade, but honestly, it shouldn’t have any dull blades at all.

This is the best mandolin that I’ve ever purchased! The slices are perfect every single time. The hand gripper works well, keeping it safe at all times. It’s sturdy and easy to clean up after use! I haghly recommend!

Love this Mandoline. The guard on the holder is a wonderful feature I never had on other similar products I have owned. I ruined a few blades not having the guard and sliced a few fingers not using a holder in the past. This mandoline is reasonably priced and so far no issues with processing food. I would recommend this to all wanting to slice vegetables quickly and uniformly.

I never knew I needed this in the kitchen till I owned it. This thing is super sharp, great quality, fun to use, offers variety in size output, and is easy to clean. **Clean by rinsing debris from product and using a brush to thoroughly clean with soap and water - rinse then air dry - Be super carful as the blade is super sharp**Fried potatoes, hash browns, sliced veggies for salad, great for soup ingredients, and the list goes on. Just buy it, this thing is sharp!

Did exactly what I wanted it to do. I got beautiful ribbon slices for my spiral veggie pie and perfect onions slivers for other dishes 👍. ❤️ the safety features. For many years I've refused to use a grate bc you're garanteed to knick your hand, so finding this jewel is a game changer for me

Doesn't work right, sticks half the time, tears apart the food and doesn't do what it should. It doesn't make the waffle fries like the image shows. Overall it seems stable and well built but it's a piece of junk, wondering if just a knock off crappy product. No matter the settings you try, it just doesn't work well. Save your money as I should have and find a well made one from europe, USA or somewhere else, anywhere but chinese made, it's just horrible quality and use.

Heavy duty, works very well on onions, potatoes, carrots and hard veggies. Not well on softer ones, green peppers, tomatoes, etc. Never found a slicer yet that worked on soft veggies, though!! Overall I like it alot.

This thing is complicated. Too many dials and settings. The other problem is that it doesn't fit over a bowl. So everything just falls on the counter or cutting board. I would not recommend this to anyone.
