Won't read barcode font without start/stop characters.
I asked the vendor if the scanner would read a barcode that was created with a barcode font without start/stop characters. The vendor answered that the scanner would read a barcode created with a barcode font, but did not answer the rest of the question.I bought the unit anyway -- and sure enough, it would not read a barcode created with a barcode font without start/stop characters. That's probably not a very common requirement, but I thought I should let potential purchasers know just the same.

never used it, was a back up and when I tried to use it, thing only worked for one day!!! at first it stopped scanning some bar code then next day stopped working all together. and can't get my money back because i had it for maybe a month or two
