I just wore this to a party and it was a hit!The black material is a brushed velvet but is stretchy and felt and looked good. It wasn't a perfect fit of course but good enough to wear without tailoring it. There are clear bra type straps that go over your shoulders and you can leave them on the dress to hold it up. I like the security of them. The "embroidery" on the front is fake but looked pretty good. Some of it was sewn into the seams but no on e noticed. The front opens up all the way to the rose and the pink ruffle has a sheer black mesh layer over it. It is really a pretty dress for the thirty dollar range!I got a pink rose to wear in my hair which really ties the costume together with the black mary-jane style shoes.If you have a spouse or guy around, buy a pink rose to match your hair clip, the black Spanish hat, and have him carry a guitar. Awesome couple outfit...made for a great couple Halloween party hit.

This is a great performance dress, it is stretchy so the fit is like a glove. I ordered a size small and I normally buy clothes in size 4/6. If your hips are larger than 36 get the next size. The colours are exactly as shown in the picture, bright, hot pink and beautiful. The quality is much higher than expected and the dress is quite classy looking. Our formation dance team will be performing merengue, bolero and samba wearing this outfit.

If you looking for something that will shape your body and is a little sexy, this is the one to get. The stretch velvet is giving were it is needed and the cut up the leg is not too high. I'm 5' 7" tall, regularly a women's size 4-6 and the medium fit perfectly. This is one of the most comfortable costumes I've ever had. It also travels well if you are going to an event out of town. I did miss that it didn't have a flower for your hair but, I found one at a craft store that worked just fine.

I bought this for culture day at church. I had Argentina and I was a little worried that I wouldn't be able to find something economical and that fit me right! I also didn't want to show too much cleavage. This dress is great! Quality is good for the price as well. I bought the suggested flower and it looks perfect. I am 5'6 tall and I weigh 124 lbs. Everything was new and it it's package and as described.

I arrive with defect in the back seam, I would like to return it but I am not on time, lost money, it is a shame because the dress looks pretty

This costume came in two days. It is a beautiful fit and looks just wonderful. I ordered based on the size chart, so even though I would normally purchase a Small or a size 6 (sometimes a 4) I ordered this in medium, going by the bust and waist measurements and ignoring the hip measurement, which would have made everything else too big. I am very happy with it. It fits like a real outfit, and I got it in time for the dancing party I am going to this Friday night, without paying expedited postage, or any postage at all, thanks to Amazon Prime.

Love love this costume. This was a last minute buy after my original costume was too big. Super comfortable and flattering. I wear a size 12, and could have probably fit into a M. The L had a bit of room. Wore it twice and got compliments both times!

The dress was really nice for a Halloween costume. It fit me well, looked good, and was comfortable. I only wore it once, so I can't comment on its durability. I was a bit surprised of how high the front opening was (I was showing a bit too much skin for my taste), but I am really short (5'1"), so it probably would not be so bad for most other people.

Dress was a black crushed velvet with flower print (flowers are not embroider) was comfortable and fit as the measurement listed. Good quality as in you would be able to wear it more than once and not worrie about it falling apart.

I loved the material and comfort. Excellent quality.
