Q: I have been using this brand, number 6.5, which is sort of dark. Is the 7.0 really like a dark blonde or is more like light brown? Pictures??

Like every other brand of permanent home hair color I've purchased, this color is more of a light (almost medium) brown. If you want dark blonde, I'd go one or two shades lighter. Believe me, you wouldn't want my picture.

Q: Does the boxes have current expiration dates?

Q: Does the Dark Blonde shade "pull red" (leave you with unwanted red/orange tones)? (I'm a natural brunette.)

I have been using this haircolor for quite some time and have never seen it leave red or orange tones in my hair. I am also a natural brunette. I like it a lot and hope this works well for you.

Q: Has anyone tried the medium brown on natural medium brown hair? Will this color make my hair much darker? Or leave a reddish undertones?

Are you planning to cover grey roots only? If you only put it on your roots for that purpose, the color should be fine. I don't know if you put it on ll of your hair, how it will turn out. I didn't find any reddish tones but I used dark blonde on my roots as my hair is light brown with blond highlights.
