I am so glad that I selected this product. I am aware that they were made for a specific purpose, but I appreciate the fact that I was able to use them to repair some jewelry. The Pliers worked perfectly to grip the small parts and I am grateful. The handles have a good grip, and I expect keep this tool in my personal toolbox for future use.

My wife is always coming to me with vials and sprayers she wishes to eke out the last drop of perfume from--I assume it is related to their exorbitant cost, but I don't ask. I find a way to get the caps off, but it is hardly by means of an elegant method. So, I decided these were worth the try, and they are. They work and are much easier and less costly of time than my homemade methods.The crimpers are another story. Fortunately it is rare that I am called upon to re-cap something. It may get done, but even with this tool, the results are just barely functional and look like they were done from desperation rather than skill. The observers would be right. So maybe with more practice I'll get better at it, but I doubt that crimps will ever be comparable to those from the factory.Nonetheless, this kit is worth obtaining for the decappers alone. A specialty tool, for sure--at least for most, but not so expensive as to disqualify it for potential occasional use.

It takes some practice to use, but once you get the hang of it, these are very inexpensive set of crimper and decappers that work great.

The remover does what it should do and loosens the metal shroud but the capper is junk. Youre better off getting a chinese one, it is easier to use and pretty fool proof. This one you have to live up and fanagle to get it to seal the metal shroud around the vial top.

These are simple, plier like tools for crimping the caps onto medical vials, or removing caps that are already on. They are not a super fancy design, but they get the job done just fine. I think this type of tool is generally overpriced for what they are, but as far as this set goes they are reasonable compared to the market. I use them for creating props for games and videos, not for medical purposes, so as a hobbyist the cost just seems a bit much in general.
