Amazing light! The mounting clip is large and securely holds to my desk (1.5" wide - clip can mount up to 2.5"). The cool thing I wasn't anticipating is that you can turn on the two heads independently or together. The brightness adjustment is a great feature, as some plants don't like harsh light, but others thrive on bright lights. I haven't tried the timer yet, but, as everything else has been great with this light, I am expecting the best. I just started my first round of seeds this weekend and am excited to see the results.

OH MY LORDY LET ME TELL YOU HOW NEAT THIS IS!!So I actually switch this light between multiple plants easy peasy with the clip and plug. My aloe is BEASTING like it's seriously at a height with my 100lb dog. And its popping babbies right and left.THEN folks I switch it to my fish tank! I have to be careful not to get the lights too close to the tank or the leaves will burn, but with them at proper angles my root growth has litterally doubled! I litterally did not expect these to work a fraction as well as they do!Side note using the water from changing the fish tank to water the plants has made them all flourish like crazy!!

I like the bar design quite a lot...better than the lamp heads. While it has multiple brightness levels, I find the lower levels aren't bright enough, so I always have them on the highest level. I keep these on during the day for my seedling on the lower level of my wire bench (which doesn't get quite as much sun). It seems to be helping. What I don't love is that the gooseneck arms are weak and don't stay in the position I put them in. I have to tie them into position so they'll stay. Other than that, can't complain.

It worked fine for a couple of months. Then I didn’t need it over the summer. Got it back out a few weeks ago for some tomato seedlings, and it’s so dim now. I push the brightness button, but every setting is the same dim level. And it’s emmitting a high pitched hum now. So it didn’t work for very long. I’m disappointed.

The lights worked well to keep my seedlings from getting leggy. The little plants look much healthier now! The bendability of the arms and the ability to switch on one or two strips of light are also super useful to allow for different configurations.Initially I thought of deducting a star for the lights not working with smart plugs, but I contacted the seller and was pleased to find out they had an updated model that works for smart plugs. The seller was willing to replace the older model I had. Such wonderful customer service!

I like the flexibility to adjust the arms. Timer works find, but I was extremely disappointed to find out I have to remember to set it every day. I thought once I set it at a certain setting it would go on and off at the same time every day. It doesn't so I have to remember to do so. Unfortunately I forget often. Bought this probably mid-late March and it's now mid May (2018) and they seem to have developed a flicker like a slow refresh rate, like when you point a camera at an led and you can see it moving on screen but not in person but now I can see it in person and it's giving me a headache other than that works great and doesn't put out alot of heat

Both units arrived with loose stickers covering the buttons on the controllers, although both worked great. After about two months, one controller started to fail. It started not responding to button presses after it was left on for a few hours, but would turn on just fine. After a few more weeks, both controllers stopped functioning altogether. Great size and form, but the controllers are junk. I'll likely re-wire to bypass the controllers as I do like the lights.
