Highly recommended to anyone trying to nail down the peculiarities in jazz manouche technique
The exercises in this book are immensely helpful in restructuring the techniques of, say, a bluegrass player whose cross-picking patterns don't closely resemble the right hand of a jazz manouche player. There are some music theory oddities that may have slipped past the editors, like notating a D diminished triad D F G#, instead of D F Ab, but this doesn't really detract from the core material as Wrembel accompanies these glitches with TABs anyway. This book seems designed as a manual for technique that is intended to move parallel to existing theory knowledge, so I'd caution anyone looking to learn basic theory from this book as they could be left with some theoretical problems should they continue down that road, but I'd highly recommend it to anyone trying to nail down the peculiarities in jazz manouche technique.

Good info, could have had better printing
Just digging into this and I am finding it contains some great information. The printing, however, leaves a little bit to be desired when it comes to the chord diagrams which are light and often difficult to read.

Highly Recommend
This book perfectly explains the methodology of gypsy jazz guitar by giving you the multiple patterns in a musical yet geometric way. It tells you what shapes you can play off of; in what context you can use them; and how to transition to another lick. The explanation for chord substitutions was really beneficial to me as well. Now I must fully apply it!

Great For Gypsy Jazz Soloing
The book concentrates mainly on soloing but is very useful in that respect.
