Konjac Green Tea Body Wave Sponge

I really wanted to like this sponge but it fell a little short for me. I've noticed a few people have complained about the size. I think the size is great! It's a little bigger than a bar of soap and easy to grip, no slippage. I love the feeling against my skin, not rough or scratchy very soft and glides smoothly. The package says not to use soap which I tried and unfortunately didn't feel very clean afterwards.My skin did feel noticeably smoother but I haven't really seen any other benefit. Maybe this will change as I use it longer. At this time I don't think I would buy again but it was fun to try.

I bought a charcoal Konjac face sponge at the same time, and I am seeing dramatic improvements on my face, however, I am not seeing the same results on my body. I don't feel like my skin is getting scrubbed as clean as I feel it is doing on my face. It was also kind of weird that it shipped damp. Bringing it from off my front porch and opening up a cold, clammy, damp sponge was strange, unlike the face ones which I had to soak in warm water to rehydrate.

This sponge is a little small and slippery so there's not much to grab onto when you're trying to use it. I had to cut the string off because it would get in the way.

I have just used this once (just got it) and love it, thus far. I will update this review if that opinion changes. But it feels great on my face. No funny scents, and a nice comfortable size and easy to handle. Other people have said they use soap with it, even though the instructions on the package say not to. I have not yet, and plain feels just fine. It will be interesting to wash after a good sweaty workout and see how that does without soap. We'll see ;-).UPDATE:Okay, so I LOVE this sponge. I find myself going to the sink a couple of times a day if I'm working outside and getting sweaty and just washing my face. It's perfect because I don't end up over-using face cleaners/soaps that dry my skin out any way. I have a question if anyone feels like answering, though. I just keep mine hung up on the bathtub faucet. Is it ever supposed to dry? Mine never does, no matter how much a squeeze it after rinsing it. Not a problem, just wondered. How will I know when to replace it?UPDATE 2: I just want to say I do still love this sponge but it really doesn't last long with daily use. I wish it was all I could use, ever, on my face, it's that nice. But it finally got hard and unusable after a month of daily use. I used it as directed only, never applied soaps to it and only used it on my face. I can't afford to keep buying it so I will get one or two a year as a special treat.

I was hoping to find a suitable organic sponge for body washing. I love one I have for washing my face. Unfortunately, this size and width doesn't cut it for me. I don't think the material is a high a quality of other organic cleansing sponges. I'll use it till it dies, but more as an accessory.

Not overly impressed with the sponge. Don't really relate to what the "green tea" is all about...other than its color is green. Obviously it works as a sponge but it's just average.

I'm giving 4 stats to this product because I just start using it, so far I do can see the difference, my skin looks and feels very smooth, I hope with more use I can even see better results but for the few times I have use it I feel confident it will deliver what it promise, healthier fresher skin

I needed to replace my other konjac sponge after it had been going strong for four months or so, but it eventually broke apart since I use soap on it (oh well, they say to replace it every few months anyhow). I couldn't buy the original sponge I bought again since the price had jumped to $25 or so, and I couldn't afford to buy both that and a new face sponge for $10, so I just opted for the cheaper body one from this company. When I got it in the mail, it came pre-moistened (the other one came hard as a rock, but I just learned that you just run it under water for a few minutes to loosen it up), AND there was a free face sponge to go with it! It felt like Christmas. This company deserves 5 stars just for that.
