When Day Breaks (Key News Thrillers, 10)

I really enjoyed reading this book, having read all Mary Higgins Clark's, Carol Higgins Clark's & Sidney Sheldon's books, I was looking for mystery writers, similar to Mary Higgins Clark & came across Mary Jane Clark, this is the 4th book I read, I'm now reading "It only takes a minute" & can't put it down, I still have 2 more that I bought & today I bought 2 more & looking for more. I really recommend this book & It only takes a minute. I can't believe that most people who gave a bad review was because the death of a dog, so it's ok to kill people, but not animals? I love dogs, so I'm not saying this because I don't like animals, I just think it's strange, if you are going to read a mystery, you know that there will be crimes, can't understand their logic!!!

One rule for writers is don't kill the animals! I won't read this as the dog dies on the third page!

Fast paced. Knew who did it right away. Not enough twist.3

Held my interest. Exciting moving from detail to detail. Wasn't able to figure out who the murderer was. I like that! I was glad none of the details even gave away that it was a woman!

I love the mystery and suspense yet none of the foul language of many writers. The relationships seem very real

I haven't read it yet, but I know it is great like all of her books.

Add to this her obvious knack for writing page-turners, and her success as a bestselling author is no surprise.After "When Day Breaks" I bought the rest of her books and have enjoyed them all just as much. They all take place within the same (fictional) television network but are individual novels to be read separately.Highly entertaining reading. I loved it!

Interesting read and kept me guessing. If you enjoy a good mystery that is not too heavy, you will like this book. The characters are likable and engaging.
