I've gone through a few of the cheap lights here on Amazon. Dealt with the infuriating bracket assembly, the worthless connections.The old adage; 'You get what you pay for truly applies here.The shear amount of usable light output is utterly jaw dropping. Pics/Vids are, as also, unjust.Plus there's the hidden versatility of these lights. You can purchase an amber filter and use that when you feel like it. On top of that Diode Dynamics have lenses that you can purchase separately and swap out the pattern from food to spot, driving, or flood WITHOUT voiding the warranty! So as the seasons change or at your whim you can pretty much have 8 lights in one (4 lenses + adding or not adding the amber filter)!!The single installation issue I had was that somebody neglected to include the 5/16th mounting nut in the packaging. So I to make a trip down to the hardware store for an additional $0.40.I'm trying to save up (fixed income) for the driving lender pattern and cannot wait to try that out.

I used to use rough country lights but I’ve completely switched to diode dynamics. I have the ss3 in amber flood. The 18in light bar in white driving. And the ss3 ranger fog lights. Very bright. Would highly recommend.

Tons of light in a great pattern! Worth the money. Great middle of the road option, price-wise. Better than the bargain, generic knock offs, also not something that's 1/3 the price you paid for the rig...

I have LED headlights and Fog lights so I figured I better buy some better lights because of this. But when I turn these lights on I can barely tell they are on.Don't buy the combo pattern, just go with the spot pattern.

Not as bright as the ridge, or as good of a beam, but they do the job.
