I got this for a gift for my 12 year old son. He was super excited when he opened it. I had to guide him and help balance him the first couple times of use. It does take a little time to get used to, however I feel like the kids mastered the use of it within about 30 minutes. They do need to build up some confidence before going on their own, but they were rolling all over the house on their own in no time. We have wooden floors and the hoverboard glided smoothly on it. The battery is long lasting, lasting around 3 hours. It can hold a good amount of weight, 130 pounds, ideal for kids and teens. I tried it myself, given I weigh 125 pounds and it carried me along just as easily as it did the kids, it has a pretty powerful motor. It turned with ease, I was able to control the movement swiftly with my feet. I was surprised with the performance, it has some get up and go and it was much easier to use than I expected. The lights on the wheels are a great addition and the whole family loves Sonic so it was a hit.

I bought this for my son bday present. Only used it inside the house. My son is less than 50 lbs and broke after a day, i returned it and i bought a new one (same item as he loves sonic and this is the only sonic hoverboard available) got the new one and it started acting up few days later, after a week it wont charged anymore and dont work , i should learned my lesson and not buy this item again. The look and sonic graphics looks nice but the quality is bad. Dont waste your time and find another one.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my 6 year old. I ordered it was delivered on Nov 2. I opened it and it seemed to work fine however it had a rattle as if a screw or something was loose inside. I charged it and put it back In the box and put it up for Christmas. Gave it to my son for Christmas it worked for about an hour and cut off. It beeped and would work intermittently I thought it was Rather quick to be dead already but I charged it now It will not even turn on. Unfortunately I'm stuck with it because of the 30 day return policy.

The print on this hoverboard is great. Definitely a great choice for kiddos just starting out, the quality is great. It actually goes pretty fast too. My son absolutely loves it! The battery life is pretty good considering how much he rides it. Lightweight but durable. Great value

Ordered one, looked awesome, but only half worked immediately. Ordered a replacement and that worked for maybe half a day, then right back to only half of it working. We decided to let it charge, but that didn’t work either. We’ve been trying everything in the Manual as our 5 year old is sonic obsessed and it’s now bitten the dust. Ineligible for return, but wouldn’t recommend anyone dealing with the hassle.

My ten year old has been asking for a hoverboard for a while now so when I saw the Sonic theme I knew it he had to have it. The Sonic images are cute, and he especially loves the lights on the wheels. We had it fully charged before we gifted it to him, and the battery lasted quite a long time while he got the hang of it. He loves it and I can see it's the new house favorite.
