This divider separates my workspace from my husband's furniture show room. It's great.

The parts do not fit together well, the screws don't respond well to a drill and have to be hand-tightened, it took a hammer to force the side supports into the vertical supports, which then caused the bamboo to split in places. If I hadn't already invested 2 hours into it, I'd have boxed it up and returned it as defective.

I don't think the instructions included some valuable information. Make sure to have a knife, screw driver and drill. 1st all C poles have holes at the ends for screws. That is the only difference between the C & D poles. Most poles are labled but some were not. 2nd nothing fits properly together. Please make sure to test and make sure the screws fit the C poles and all the poles fit the holes before putting it all together.I had to shave the ends of the poles so they would fit. I was going to drill new holes so the screws would fit or just use wood glue. I couldn't get the screws back out. I🤷‍♀️ I was also worried of ruining the bamboo. I guess I could saw them off?

Really just what I wanted, it's beautiful, sturdy and lightweight for how sturdy it is. I took off a star because putting it together was a little hard, the screws are big and it was really tight, because it was real bamboo some went it fine, others didn't line up as perfectly. I had to take some of the screws out before they got stripped when it got difficult and I found some that were slightly smaller, the new ones I put in seem to be holding up fine.
