The install time for the new shower head was about 2 minutes. Less than 1 minutes to get the original shower head off; a simple wrench would do fine, but on my shower I just simply twisted off the original shower head. The unit comes with the small roll of teflon tape. Simply roll the tape over the male pipe in clockwise direction and twist on the new shower head. In about 2 minutes I have new shower head. The cost is relatively similar to the ones in local bigbox hardware store when on sale. The shower intensity if great, and for these of sensitive skin who likes drip type of shower head this maybe too much, and there is no built in control to adjust this. Overall a good value.

I've never done anything relating to plumbing but even I was surprised by how easy it was to install. All I needed to do was unscrew my old shower head, apply the plumbers tape and screw on the new one. It might be easier with a wrench to tighten it, but I didn't need one. The pressure isn't amazing, but I think that's just because of my apartment. I still love it though because my old shower head was crap.The best part is because it was so easy to install, it'll be just as easy to replace with my old one since I didn't "technically" ask for permission to replace it :3

Bought this as a quick replacement when my master shower head began to clog up. Pleasantly surprised by the water pressure for the price paid. Took off a star because we have found that when we run a sink in our bathroom while the shower head is going, the pressure lowers and the head starts making a noise like its fighting for pressure to come out. Adjusting the heat level usually fixes it quickly but it happens often. I would recommend this for a guest bath, my wife is already bugging me to get a real master shower head.

I just moved into a new apartment where the shower head was completely broken. Half of the water came shooting out the side and what did manage to trickle downwards was so paltry that it took a full minute and a half to get my hair wet. I ordered this online and it is magic. I'm no plumber so my dad walked me through the process via FaceTime and it was actually fairly simple - I used a wrench to remove the old head, scrubbed off the old plumbers tape, applied new tape, screwed the new head on and BAM - strong, evenly distributed water pressure. Highly recommend.

This was a saving grace replacement for a terrible shower head. It includes the little tape you need for the seal. However, now that we’ve been using it, we found that water sits in the shower head when it’s off — it doesn’t really seem to drain well and you can’t tip it down enough to drain. Anyway, pressure and flow are decent, but not sure if that standing water issue is sanitary.

Great shower head. I tested the gallons per minute and it's 2.5 if you leave the restrictor that's under the washer in. I took it out and it doubled the water going through the head to 5 gallons a minute. Even though I liked the head better with the restrictor out that's just too much water. I put it back in and it's fine that way. Its better than the delta shower head that came with my bath fitter shower and it's better than the 20 dollar shower head I bought at home depot(another delta) to replace it.

This is 5 stars relative to price, but 4 star overall. It loses the star for having too small of an area where it delivers the water. Considering how high the water pressure is (it is crazy high without the water flow restrictor, which took 30 seconds to remove)), they should angle the nozzle a little more outward.

I had ordered two shower heads for both bathrooms and installed right away they work great.The install was quick and easy it comes with a mini roll of teflon tape so you won't have to run down to the hardware store to buy it.A bit of advice make sure you take off any old teflon tape before putting on new tape go around a coupe of times around pipe thread and keep tape even when applying use an adjustable wrench not a pliers you don't to mare the chrome and don't over tighten.I will recommend this product to family .
