Master class
On a scale of one to five, this book get a ten stars grade. After reading this book, I’m much more confident when pricing every product and service I offer on my online store (The Value Pricing Framework). I wasn’t sure what customers expectations and needs are. This book pinpoint the very tiny details that you must consider in making the right prices for a successful and profitable business. Thank you Utpal Dholakia for a clear and educational book that change my view on pricing. I bought this book on Amazon for less than $20, one of the best investment I’ve ever made (most business books I buy usually tell me things I already know - not this one, this book is a masterpiece). Every thesis supported by a showcase from real life. You learn from other people mistakes, you learn how to connect with your customers. Must read for everyone who own a business and wish to increase sales and profits.

Great book on pricing. Probably going to be a classic text one day.
I've read this book twice and the second time was very helpful. It may seem like a simple idea the author is trying to convey, and although it can be easily understood, thinking about all the ideas together and how they interact with each other is where I found the true value. The writing style was engaging and entertaining at times. The book is highly pragmatic, to the point and mostly devoid of fluff. Overall I'd highly recommend this book to anyone working in the commercial functions of an organization. Fyi I'm a strategic pricing analyst. Also, for the price it's worth the investment in your business education IMHO.

Good book with theories and cases...but a bit outdated
The last chapter talking about business and consumer products pricing strategies is a bit vague because the examples used in business products sound like consumer goods.Other than this, other chapters are quite clear and easy to understand.

Finally! Practical guidance for pricing
I'm not even done reading this book and already I've found it extremely valuable. I've had a hard time finding guidance about pricing that can apply to small businesses. Most pricing books I've come across are either out-dated or written with huge manufacturing companies in mind. This one is different and gives practical advice and understanding for making sound pricing decisions.

GREAT book
Truly amazing. I purchased after reading all of the stellar reviews and I haven't been disappointed. Easy to read, clear and concise.

I thought I would be leaving a great review
For 3/4 of the book, I was nodding along and saying a-ha at info that should've been obvious to me before reading the book. Information is spelled out clearly, case studies are referenced, business stories and successes are included, and promises are given. Promises that were never fulfilled. Talk about an anti-climatic book. You get to what you think is going to be the "promised land," that area where it walks you through everything and you come out at the end with answers. Nope. All of a sudden, it ends and an appendix is thrown in with the most rudimentary questions, like a questionnaire I'd find in a business magazine. I get that these questions are meant for me to create my own plan but how am I supposed to do that with case studies and business stories? If there was a second book or something that said pay here for more info, I would happily do it because the book is written well but dang, what a let down.

Well-structured pricing book
The book is very well-structured, and readers don't get lost while reading it. Nicely laid out frameworks and supporting examples make sure that you understand how to use pricing strategies. Moreover, it is an easy-to-read, book which does not require to be a pricing professional. If you want to understand the art of pricing, this is the book you should read!

A well written approach to Value Based Pricing where the author puts together a clear framework that any organization can use to move to a smarter pricing process. Many cost-plus companies can use this to make sure they are pricing their products in a way that makes sense to their customers and their employees.
