I like having a laser sight on some firearms. I have a .308 rifle with a nice green laser that I use on occasion. I saw this little sight and thought that I would give it a try. I have not had the opportunity to test it thoroughly yet, and I will update this review as I gain a more complete picture of its quality and performance. I have not included any pictures with this review because I am not sure of Amazon's policy around firearm-related posts. The only pistol that I currently have that is suitable for this mount is an SR22. It has also recently turned bitter cold where I am and I have not wanted to stand around all day firing a lot of rounds. I will give it a try on a pistol with greater recoil in the near future.It arrived well-packaged. A small hard-sided cardboard box with a foam rubber insert. It included a CR-1/3N lithium battery, three small hex key allen wrenches, a small instruction card, and the sight. My first thought was that the sight was slightly smaller than what I anticipated. It also feels solid and well-made. Installing the battery was easy and straightforward. It requires the use of one of the hex keys and installs right in the front of the unit. I have used the laser quite a bit to test its strength and visibility under different situations and to zero the beam. So far, I have seen no sign of battery depletion.It installed easily to the small pistol that I used. A second allen wrench is used to loosen and tighten the screw that secures the sight. The mount is very secure and did not mar the rail on this pistol when tightened. Adjusting the beam direction was pretty easy and requires the third and smallest of the three allen wrenches. The included instructions were a little bit lacking, but you can certainly find information easily from other sources if you have questions. The beam is very bright and is easily seen in indoor and outdoor situations and different lighting conditions. I have fired 50 shots using this laser sight. My grouping was excellent, but it usually is with this .22. I did not see any drifting of the beam during this brief test. However, the recoil was very light and the duration was short.This is my only real area of concern for this sight, though I have not experienced any problems. I expected a little more of that nice well-machined resistance when adjusting elevation and windage/drift. There was some, but I would like to see if it holds well under more recoil. The switch is a small button on the left side rear of the sight body as it hangs on this firearm. It is well placed, but potentially a little small if you find yourself trying to turn it on in a pressure situation or using gloves. This may also be a positive for you because its low profile and smooth edges are unlikely to snag. So far, I am very pleased with this little sight. At this price point, I have no reason to believe that it is not an excellent purchase. If that assessment changes in the future, I will note it in my review.

Back up sights on an ar15 works great,lightweight small and takes up very little space

If you own a sub-compact you know that most accessories are not made for your pistol. Not enough barrel length for most things. Well, this is the one that works. It is small and powerful. It adjusts easily with two allen screws. The button to turn it on is on the left side. I wish it had a trigger switch but it would cost much more. It comes with the battery and the wrenches to install it. The manual is simple to understand. This also come with a 20mm lower rail mount that you can stack another accessory to. That starts to get heavy on the business end of your pistol but it is available. I love that it is short enough in length to fit and with room to spare. I can’t wait to get out and test how accurate it is. The price is reasonable and in line with others. I recommend this laser.

This product honestly really surprised me in terms of how solid it is. It fits perfectly on normal 8mm piticanny rails and even has a rail on the bottom of it for whatever you may need it for. It is VERY bright, you will never have a problem with not being able to see it, even in daylight. Zeroing it in is very easy to do, they have one hex nut on the side and one on the bottom. My favorite part of this laser though is that I own a sig 226 that has a special type of rail on the bottom that I haven't been able to find a laser for because it is not a standard piticanny rail. This laser, though, has a sort of flap for one of its attachments to the side of the rail, but if you buy a 40mm m3 screw, you can make it fit literally any rail. 11/10.

I liked the easy install and that it included all of the tools to do so. It would have been nice to have a common wrench for everything but one size for the rail bolt, one to adjust elevation / windage, and another for the battery compartment is how this is.Another nice feature is that the extra rail can be removed to take away some.of the bulk. It is fairly wide, bit it kind of has to be so that you can reach the switch on the left rear.I haven't shot with it yet, but I dialed it in to match the sights at about 10 yards for now and will experiment with where to sight it in next time I'm at the range.

Worked for 10 minutes. Laser works off and on and not reliable. Awful design and construction
