LAZY SUSAN TV RISER Light CHERRY Stained-easy touch swivel

I totally love this TV Riser/Lazy Susan. I was looking online for a riser to accommodate my center channel speaker. I almost bought the basic riser, but changed my mind when I saw the Lazy Susan. Having the Lazy Susan makes it much easier to access behind my TV without having to pick it up. My TV stand console is placed at an angle in the corner of the room. This position allows the Lazy Susan to turn around 360 degrees with my 46" LED TV on it(assuming no cords are attached). With cords attached, I can turn the TV around 180 degrees. I was also concerned based on other reviews about how sensitive the Lazy Susan can be. When I first placed the TV on it, it would not stay in position. I noticed the weight of the cords attached to the TV were causing the TV to turn just a bit. I repositioned the cords to make sure the majority of its' weight is at the center of the back of the TV. I also had to reposition the TV itself to make sure it is centered on the Lazy Susan. After making those adjustments, the TV does not move, staying in the position I want it. When I first saw the photo of the Lazy Susan, I noticed it was a light brown color. I wanted mine to be solid black. I contacted the seller, Kerry, and he responded promptly he could stain it black no problem without any extra charge. I was also impressed when I opened the box, the packaging was labeled to NOT pick up the Lazy Susan from the top. If you decide to purchase a Lazy Susan, open the box and turn it upside down on a soft surface such as your bed, and pull the box up from the Lazy Susan, leaving it on the soft surface. I am still impressed with the black stain. The wood grain shows up very well. I chose this color to go well with my other media furniture. The construction and durability of this riser has me confident it will last a very long time. One last piece of advice: DO NOT push/slide the riser AFTER the TV is on it. If you must move the riser after the TV has been placed on it, take the TV down first. I made the mistake of pushing/sliding the riser with my TV on it for last minute adjustments to center it on my TV console. This is too much weight to make such adjustments. Also, you run the risk of the TV toppling over. When I did this, one of the cushioned feet on the bottom of the riser came off. I take 100% responsibility for that. If you can, have a second person with you to set it up properly, and safely. I did not have a second person with me, and was too anxious to wait for help. I highly recommend this seller and this product. I will be looking for new products in the future, and will definitely give high marks to anyone interested in their products.Update 4/15/2018: 5 years later I still love this riser. I now use it for a different TV(51”), in a different room. The lazy susan works just as good as it did 5 years ago. The finish still looks great. It is just as sturdy as it was on day one. I appreciate the quality of construction and the great customer service. FYI the last 3 photos were added 4/15/2018.

This was the perfect quality turntable I was looking for to use with my new 40" TV. It's made of solid oak with a cherry satin stain. Looks great with the homemade red oak TV stand my dad made me years ago. It stays in place when you turn it in any direction. Just make sure the TV is centered. I highly recommend this item. It will come very well packaged too and shipping is very reasonable!

The quality of this product is awesome. Very nice workmanship.My only complaint is on me as I should have paid attention to the depth of the unit. It is too shallow to cover my cable box from Comcast. It would be nice if it was about 4 to 6 inches deeper.Otherwise - the wood work is beautiful and the lazy Susan mechanism works great.Thanks,Chuck

I purchased a B.I.C. Venturi Center speaker to finish out my surround system, and it's 8" tall and very heavy. I had no way to wall mount it due to HVAC ducting in the wall behind the TV. So I went with this, and it solved my problem nicely. It's very well made, swivels easily even with the 80 pound Sharp sitting on it, and places the TV above my center channel. The center channel wouldn't fit inside though, it's just sitting in front of it, and when I need to swivel it the speaker swivels with it :)

While nothing is perfect, this is as near as you can get. I needed something, short of hanging the TV, to allow the cable box and the TV to be on one flat surface. (Small house no wall space.) This works.
