It's comfortable and sturdy. It's well made and looks good, but it is a little pricey. I would probably buy it again.

Really heavy, difficult to fold and move, dubious quality (one of the two I ordered arrived broken.) Definitely not worth the price, especially for something made in China where you know they pay and treat their workers poorly. I added one star because they look nice and are comfortable.

We purchased a set of these chairs to sit next to our classic car that was in a day-long car show. We knew we'd be there long hours, and we wanted more than the flimsy aluminum and nylon-seated ones. Also,we had a very large (300#) friend who needed to sit too. These chairs were extremely comfortable for us all, all day. If you have an event(s) where you need to sit for long hours, these are great chairs. Note, they are sturdy, and a bit heavy. I wouldn't recommend them if you need to carry them unassisted for long distances.

I ordered two chairs as a vendor for art/craft shows. I purchased the green cushion chairs because I wanted the darker wood (Elm) and love them! One of the reasons I like these chairs is that you're eye level with customers so that you can talk/answer questions without standing up and getting in their way. One of my pet peeves is a vendor who is standing and you have to walk around them. I would definitely recommend!! I also bought drink holders, under seat storage bags and wheels for easy transporting! Don't let the price scare you off...worth every penny!

This is a beautiful piece of furniture - my expectations were not set that high for a 'director' chair. But the best thing is that it is SO comfortable, you may never get out of it!I got it for outside in a covered patio area. But I feel bad leaving it out. So we only take it outside when we are using it. It really is a indoor type finish on the wood.I highly recommend this chair.

The chair in theory is really great. It's sturdy, has a nice lean angle, and the padding is comfortable.However, the backrest inevitably will rip apart. They left no overlap in the fabric so it is sewn quite literally on the seam. The first backing I had started to rip the very first day I had it (I weigh 170lbs). I asked the company to send me another one, they did (very cool). The new one had the same stitching errors and despite trying to sew some reinforcements into the seams, it already is ripping after 2 days of careful use. Once it starts to tear that's it. I doubt they will send me a third backing, nor am I sure I want a 3rd backing.Such a bummer because it would be so easy for them to include a larger seam with back stitching on the ends.

We liked this chair so much we bought a second chair, since everyone was fighting about who was going to get to sit in it! We bring these chairs out when we have company for extra seating around the bar. We wanted these chairs because they fold for easy storage. They are comfortable and great looking too!
