As of August 2017... Made 100% from scrap cardboard (perfect cardboard that was simply left-over so instead of being recycled, we repurposed into these scoops) As our cats would say, "Re-purrr-posing" unused cardboard takes us a lot more time (more labor cost) but worth it because you are saves millions of trees AND all the countless tons of water, oil, chemicals, and pollution a recycling plant uses. Perfect for traveling, oh the joy of NOT having to re-pack or clean used litter scoops while on the road. Just scoop and toss. Home use too: we know cats love a fresh box and their favorite time to go is right when you finished cleaning the regular litter pan and the plastic scoop. spraying some air freshener on the now dirty again scoop just will not do and banging it on the side of the litter box will only do so much. So for the between times when you just need to make a quick scoop or you just do not have time or want to clean your scoop again. All Kitty Kan products are 100% made in the USA using only USA made material. We are a cat loving, disabled veteran owned small company, and like it that way.

Great for Cleaning Up After Sick Kitties
I first bought these a few years ago when one of my cats was going through chemotherapy and I needed to keep the box waste free without exposing myself or the other kitties to the chemo drug. I had to scoop every time there was a poop and these were really handy to keep up with that. I have also used them several times with other kitties who were being treated for intestinal parasites (all my cats are rescues). That is another situation where you need to scoop frequently and these alleviate the need to continually sterilize a scooper. As another customer pointed out, they work fine with Clump & Seal litter for cleanup of urine clumps and with any litter for poops. I keep a supply of them in my "kitty medical supply cabinet" and never want to run out!

Not very strong.
I brought these because my cat had radioactive therapy for her thyroid and I needed a scooper that I could throw out at every litter change for two weeks. It was not very strong with the clumps and it broke them apart. I’m glad I only had to use these for two weeks only. I would only recommend these card board scoopers if you had nothing else. It was not worth the price at all.

I hate having the plastic scoops around...I find them very unsanitary. We also use pine pellets so the plastic scoops tend to scoop way too much of the good pieces. The holes on these are big enough for the pine pellets to drop through and only scoop the poo out.

Amazing Product
I love this product! No more cleaning cat piss and poop and having a smelly scooper laying around. Keeps things so much cleaner and easier. Exra bonus is that it is made from cardboard that would normally be thrown away. I'm a huge fan and order these reguarly for my kitites. Cat poop smell is the worse, and this amazing product reduces that smell in my house. Great stuff!!!

Great for Busy Families
A better alternative than using a regular litter scoop that just gets dirtier and harder and harder to clean over time. I recommend using this with Arm & Hammer Clump and Seal (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00S82T29W/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_75) and outofsight litterbox. Winning combination for a small apartment with 3 cats.

Meh, not really a fan. They don’t do well with clumps stuck to the bottom of the litter pan.
