I didn't believe it, but it's true. It's not advertised as an atomic clock but when I plugged it in, the correct time and date were already set. We replaced an atomic clock that was a real BOMB. It NEVER kept the correct time. So we did NOT want to repeat that experience. The old clock was also a radio. We didn't want that either. This clock is brilliant. On top of having the correct time and date out of the box, it has really nice very large, easy-to-read numbers. We live on a golf course, on the 3rd tee. My wife said they'd be able to read the clock from the clubhouse. That's a stretch, but we will be able to see it very clearly with our fading eyes. The simple switches made setup so easy ... a caveman could do it. The only possible minor issue might be brightness. If it IS too bright for the bedroom the dimmer setting only appears to support very bright or very dim. We won't judge that until we use it a bit. This is THE clock I looked for several times to replace the old 'bomb'. Looking forward to using it for a very long time.

This clock fits my needs perfectly. It's easy to set--quite intuitive--and the white lettering on the black background makes it easy to read. It's easy to set between dim and bright. I especially love that I can see the numbers on this clock from a distance without my glasses on. I have very impaired vision and I can see the time at night from this clock, which is on the dresser near the foot of the bed.I had ordered a similar clock from another manufacturer and it was impossible to set the time, plus the dimmer toggle was hit or miss. I sent it back and ordered this clock and have been very happy with it. I like that it has an additional USB in case I want to charge another device. I do not use the alarm function because I use my old iPhone as an alarm. I use this clock as a clock that I can actually see during the day or at night. If you have limited vision, this clock is a life saver!!

Finally a clock that I can see at night without my glasses. Would highly recommend for anyone with poor vision. This is second clock I received. The first clock I received did not have the correct time when I plugged it in. I set the time and it gained about 2 minutes per week. Probably would have given it zero stars. I advised the company of my problems and they promptly sent me a new clock. The new clock had the correct time right out of the box and has been keeping perfect time for several months. Thanks for great customer service.

This clock has nice big numbers that should be easy for any to see. It is a little to brought for me and I have on the dim setting but this might not be a problem for others. It is east to set up and love that it auto sets after a power outage.

This is a great clock. Easy to read. Easy to setup. Just set your time zone and if you have daylight savings time, turn the DST switch to on. Plug it in and that’s it. The dimmer switch is actually the snooze bar. Just hold it down until it dims. The numbers are red. With it set to low dim, I had no trouble sleeping. It was not bright in my opinion. I don’t have to cancel the low dim setting for daylight as the numbers are easily seen. This clock is just what I was looking for. Great clock.

If you just want to know "roughly" what time it is, then this will be great for you. Large, bright (but dimmable) read-out, automatically adjusts for savings time, tons of other options, easy to use alarm, USB power port, etc., etc., etc. BUT i have two of these and they don't even agree with each other, and neither of them agrees with the time on my iPhone. So the range of accuracy is plus or minus TWELVE minutes! It is just as well that it is no longer available -- maybe many others had complained -- hope so!

I have had this clock for about 5 days now. I bought this for my wife's side of the bed as her last clock died in a short period of time. This was the second clock that I bought in the last week or so but had to send the last one (FROM A DIFFERENT MANUFACTURE) because it did not perform as advertised but not this clock it worked as advertised right out of the box. The number one reason I bought the first clock was because it claimed to be an automatic time clock but it never worked and the numbers on the clock was hard to view because the dimmer was automatic and it would not stay on. Not this clock, when I plugged it in for the first time the time was automatically set and I knew then this would be a good product because it did what they said it would do right out of the box. As far as the numbers on this clock, TRUST me you can see the numbers from anywhere in the room. This is a well made product and it works as advertised. I would definitely recommend this clock to anyone who is looking for a clock that sets the time automatically and can see the numbers from anywhere in the room!

The clock is easy to set up and the correct time set as soon as I plugged it in. The numbers are bright and big which is perfect since I'm very near sighted. That's as far as good things go. I set the alarm making sure it was set for a.m. not p.m. It doesn't go off so I depend on my cat who never fails to wake me at his breakfast time. I was waiting for us to revert back to standard time and I would have one less clock that I needed to reset the time. It didn't change so I did it manually. I don't recommend this clock and will replace it whenever I see something else I like.
