Sally HansenMiracle Gel Merry and Bright Collection My, My Elf & I - 0.5 fl oz

This polish was featured in a beauty list (I think Allure) for creating the donut glazed look. To me it's a little more shimmery/glittery than i expected and less of an opal multichrome, which is what i was expecting, so i deducted a star. It's nice over lighter polishes, in my opinion, than dark ones, or even just on its own over a plain unpolished nail.

Hard to apply - the color goes on unevenly. I find I have to apply at least 2 very thick coats to even it out. I will use it but probably won't buy again.

This polish is beautiful and just the right sparkle for the Holidays! Went on so smooth and what fun it is to have a little “bling”.

This color is my new favorite for mid-summer through mid-fall (just my feeling about it)! It's metallic that shimmers from gold through rose gold. It covers very well without being streaky or glopping up. I used 3 (thinnish, not thick) coats to get the depth I wanted, then finished it with a clear top coat.Sally Hansen and OPI have always been my go-to brands for nail polish (with the exception of some Sally Hansen Insta-Dry polish - I just can't get it to cover my nails right without streaking) because most of the colors are beautiful and pretty tough against chipping (which is no small accomplishment when the wearer is pushing a manual wheelchair).Some shades are more sheer or just one color with shine, but this is (in my opinion) a great change from those. VERY pretty and still appropriate for everything from work to vacation. It's shimmery and interesting without being over the top. And no, I don't give every color a glowing recommendation. One was downright horrible, so it's nice to be able to share a terrific review!

Just to let you know..I have never been able to keep polish on my nails for more than 2 days unless it is gel. Even with a professional manicure. The salon tech told me that some people just have oilier nails, so polish doesn't adhere as well. I really don't want the expense of gel so I tried this out. I buffed and then degreased with alcohol. I applied this and the glossy step 2 as directed. I then put another coat of each the next day. I am on day 5 with some wear. It is acceptable looking for probably another day or maybe 2. So, although this is less than 8 days and required another coat the next day this is way more wear than I've ever been able to get in the past.Cons: The brush is huge which makes it a little challenging to not get polish on the cuticles. I wish the brush was 30% smaller for more precision application.The lighter color that I bought applied a little bit streaky. I amended my application and just floated the brush over the nail rather than brushing the nail directly. This worked better.Anyway, I consider this a win to keep polish on longer than 2 days.

Love this color, and the gel works great

The color in the add appears to be pink. In actuality it is more of a gold tone. Longevity is average compared to other polishes of the same brand. I am not a big fan of the color.

I order this color thinking it was going to look like the photos but it doesn’t. More of a shiny orange/yellow glitter color.

This arrived yesterday, I always used Sally Hansen for years , so I didn’t think the other reviews were true , thought maybe the item was not applied properly.Gave it a go , not lasted one day and it’s chipped off .It’s not a miracle gel nail Polish , it’s not as trade description.Don’t waste time, money or effort in this .Evidence it arrived on cctv ring camera .Used last night , now chipped off .

The item looks awful on my nails and I’ve had much better quality from cheaper brands. Won’t be buying again.

Awful. I bought this product believing it will work as described. I painted my nail and the very next day the varnish was chipping even though I had not immerse my hands into water. The colour is somehow okay and it is easy to remove with 100% acetone remover but not worth it if it does not work as describe. Suppose to last a bit longer as that is what gel nail varnish do.

This stuff is so bad to apply it has a terrible finish. I’ve tried multiple times and it doesn’t come out nicely at all.
