Kiva Organic Cacao (Chocolate) Powder - Non-GMO, Raw, Vegan, 16-Ounce Pouch (Pack of 2)

first off i have to address this product EXCEEDED my expectations and changed my view on coco powder. its is not the best tasting however with the help of either cane sugar or honey along with organic milk is an excellent choice when deciding how you would like to consume chocolate milk. it is delicious warm or cold, mixed in with either milk(organic preferred) or water(mixed in with a little milk or cream, organic preferred) or however you choose to consume this product( perfect in smoothies, baking sweets etc). perfect for health conscious individuals for it provides the body with a good source of mineral content(magnesium, zinc etc), fiber and other various nutrients which help you achieve your daily micro nutrient intake. also not so health conscious individuals will also enjoy this product as it is a great alternative to the typical chocolate milk found in stores containing high fructose corn syrup and other toxins. I also forgot to mention its NON GMO and ORGANIC definitely a plus, and they'res two 16 ounce pouches which comes out to $15 a pouch what a steal!!!! i would definitely recommend this product to any one and every one!!! i am looking forward to my future purchases!!!

It tastes good. It's really just meant to be added to anything and not to be made into a drink of its own. I did ask the company weather I can add it to hot milk or water to make hot chocolate and they answeared that I could add this cacao powder into a hot water. Well, yes, they did not lie about that, for that matter I can put it into anything hot and cold, but...But it will not taste like hot chocolate. Otherwise, added to other hot chocolate mixes or other food items, it has a great chocolate taste. Another little thing is that it does not completely dissolve and parts of it lay on the bottom of the cup, so the content of the cup needs to be stirred as you drink down your drink, or you can simply get rid of what's left on the bottom or eat it, it tastes fine, just doesn't look too appetizing. Great tasting cacao powder.

I was looking for a higher quality product to make hot cocoa. I mix it with either sugar or stevia. The criollo beans are highly rated.
