At first, this hose was exactly as advertised...then within only 1.5 years, it sprouted pinhole leaks, spraying me as I hand watered. So, discarding this hose and purchasing another brand that has lasted three years.

I agree with the other 5-star ratings. I don't live in a cold climate or hot climate (SF area). But in the 2 months this has worked well in the driveway.Edit: 6-month update. Quality material, light but strong. Holding up well. The metal fittings are withstanding the "salt air" of the Pacific ocean, remaining shiney with no signs of corrosion. The spray nozzles work well. Did not use the hanger, but used a empty wood planter box for storage of the hose in the corner of the driveway.

The hose? So far so good. Used it 4 weekends in a row. It's a total different animal than I'm use to...makes me laugh at times, when put under pressure, or pressure released.Was thrown off at first as the photo of a nicely coiled hose gave me the impression that it was slinky like in it's extension and retraction, like a previous hose I was fond of. So at first disappointed.But it is uniquely different to anything I've used. Light, ¿heavyduty? , quality components, handy well designed hose bib, contracts and stows quickly. Very versatile.

Had it for less then a year the inner part of the hose seperated. This made it unusable. This happened after low to moderate use. Then I found out if I bought it at Home Depot they would exchange it for a new one. I would not buy this again and I would recommend buying yours at Home Depot.

I was tired of dealing with heavy, non flexible hoses. This hose is lightweight, very easy to handle and maneuver around. No kinking or getting tangled. I would have given 5 stars if it was longer. Might have to buy a second hose for the added length needed.

Good for 8 months then burst near the brass attachment. If you buy one, get the warranty.

This expandable hose is great. This is the 2nd time that I have bought one not from this company but the one you buy in the stores. We had it about 4 months before it started to fall apart. I like the expandable hose concept so I thought I would try another brand because my husband is a car fanatic and is always outside on the weekend washing his classic cars. This hose is amazing I am not kidding very durable, lightweight, the construction and quality is top notch and you can't beat the customer service. I like it so much and so does my husband that I am buying another one for him and one for my son. Don't hesitate this is a quality, affordable expanding hose.

Finally got to try this hose due to our Mich. winter. Total excitement washingmy car. So happy I found this companies expandable hose and bought it becauseof all of the 5 star reviews. 1. the price it is with all the things you get with it iscrazy to start with 2. the quality of the hose and everything is morethan 5 star for me. 3. the softness and ease moving it around is unbelievable.Haven’t used it only once, but being alive for awhile (age 67) at this time I feelthis was one of the best investments I have ever made and from me this hosecomes highly recommended.
