BOSUBallast Exercise Ball

Si tratta della seconda palla “Bosu Ballast” da me acquistata.La prima (2019) aveva un tappo rosso di diametro piuttosto grande, il che rendeva assai difficile il confiaggio.Ora, promuovo l’idea di sostituire il tappo con una valvola; sennonché, pur avendo seguito le istruzioni, dopo un paio di giorni la nuova palla perde aria e non ha ancora acquisito una forma sferica accettabile.Visto il prezzo - non è sicuramente la più economica sul mercato - mi ritengo deluso; tuttavia, prima di chiedere il rimborso, ho optato per la sostituzione.

We have used Bosu products in the past and there is no doubt that they make a premier product because of the quality of the materials that they use. Inflating this ball is next to impossible. as previous buyers have commented on. The value is too big ,and the pump is next to useless unless you have 4 hours to inflate it. Having said that , I developed a work around. Use an electric tire inflator, and use a latex glove to help create a proper seal between the inflator nozzle and the valve opening. Wrap the latex glove around the nozzle until you get the proper seal. When your ball is fully inflated , you have to pull the nozzle out quickly and put the plug in quickly because the valve opening is HUGE. If you don't do it quickly , you will lose a lot of air and have to re-inflate it again. Also, the instruction manual refers to a plug remover, I couldn't find one in the packaging. I send an email to the seller and they said that one is available to purchase on their website. (Ugh). There is a simple remedy to this , use a spoon to remove the plug. It doesn't have any sharp edges and wont damage your ball. To the folks at Bosu ..redesign the valve opening so its easier to fill .

For those who are unfamiliar with bosu....let me just tell you always have some bosu equipment at your home. This thingy was purchased by accident as I wanted the bosu ball (the one that is half a ball), but lucky for me it came with a cd and WOW it is fantastic. I can do so many different exercises for core and balancing which I never knew and I have been dabbling with work out a off and on for 15 years. Old habits die hard with me so if you are interested in core/abs and just overall agility building then this is the most affordable way to get started. Just to inform you it is not easy to master the techniques at first but I have had it for over a month and now I can see differences in the taking care of my home, general sports and just overal I feel great and cannot wait till I hit my target. This should not be considered an all in one solution for weight loss or toning it most certainly helps a lot but more so in conjunction with other activities.

I bought this thinking it was the original bosu ball, the half one that is for balance etc. Even though I got the wrong one, I kept it because it is a vast improvement over my other stability ball for the following improvements 1) it doesn't slip around, so I feel more secure while using it 2) the sand in the bottom gives it extra weight and stability. I'd recommend this over other stability balls for those reasons and I think it is a decent price as well.

Great ball with lots of different exercises available. Wish I had gotten the larger size. The only downside was filling it with air, beyond hard to do as you fill it and then have to move at the speed of light to get the stopper in before all the air escapes. Took me half an hour to fill it to the right pressure. On the bright side if you have to deflate it for any reason it will be quick as pie. I also don't like the stopper as I don't feel like it is secure.
