Love's Cabin Weatherproof & Insulated Feral Cat Shelter for Winter - Outdoor/Indoor Cat House with Hanging Ball & Scratch Pad

I got this for the stray cats in our neighborhood. We live in south Florida so it doesn’t exactly get freezing but it’s much colder than usual in the winter time and I wanted them to have somewhere warm to go. It’s so easy to assemble and it’s really holding up well. Idk if they use it or not but I’m just happy they’ve got a safe, dry, and warm little hut if they want to.It sits under our lanai so I can’t say if it holds up well to rain though!

I got two of these so that our porch cats (who have lived here longer than we have) would have more options to stay warm in. We also have DIY insulated bins which are probably the warmest but these houses seemed like a good addition because sometimes other cats hang out beyond the 3 who are always here. These are easy to put together and sturdy. I like the size, cat sized, whereas my DIY bins are kind of large (they still get used). Since we have straw for the insulated bins, I added a straw layer to these kitty houses and self-warming kitty beds and Gary, the kitty in charge, decided this was perfect for him.I do think that for really cold weather the opening sound be a bit smaller. Also, while I haven’t tested it, I would not try to use these in an area that is not covered. (Ours is on a large covered porch). If it were a completely exposed area, I imagine this will sooner or later fail to keep kitties dry and warm enough (even if the roof never leaks, the opening is large enough to let rain and snow in). Sort of like the difference between a water resistant watch and a watch that is actually rated for full underwater use.Still it is definitely better quality than the price tag and the cats definitely like and use it!

Very happy with this product so far. Bought it for the neighbor's cat, who refuses to go home because they got two new kittens and she does not like them, and has now seemed to have adopted our yard as her new home. It was very easy to assemble. The velcro closures have held fast so far, even in wind and rain. The removable mat is very soft and warm. The bottom of the house is too thin to safely put it on the ground, so we put it on an old chair and placed a footstool in front of it so the cat can jump up more easily. We were afraid the house wouldn't be entirely waterproof or warm enough, so we covered it with a clear plastic shower liner as a tarp. So far, it has worked wonderfully with these adjustments! The cat went in it the first day and has been hanging out in there ever since. She loves it. It has stayed warm and dry, and is still standing firm. I'm thinking of adding an umbrella over it to act as a porch roof to help keep out stronger wind and rain. Definitely considering ordering more for the other neighborhood cats wandering around. I didn't give it full marks because it isn't 100% sturdy or 100% weatherproof, but for the price, those issues can be addressed with a little tweaking and consideration.

I purchased this days before a serious cold snap for my two outside porch cats and was determined in finding an outside house that would protect them from the wind and provide them a second exit. This was placed on my porch so it wasn't totally exposed to the elements. It's sturdy but I'm fairly certain if left in rain and snow it wouldn't last long. It wasn't the only shelter they were given but it's the only one they both refused to use. I'm not giving up, it's already broken down and packed away for next winter. I prefer them to have options and I don't regret buying this for them.

I ordered this "Cat House" (LOL) for my darling cat, Irvine. Two days later, Irvine was stolen. The "Cat House" is VERY, VERY sturdy, and was VERY well-built. It was in EXCELLENT condition. It was also water-proof & nice and very heavy, no worries about it flying off in the wind. For the record, I named Irvine after my very favorite Dallas Cowboy, #88, Michael Irvine. My Irvine was silver gray, with emerald green eyes & the funny thing is, my Irvine was a female. The sad thing is, Irvine was abandoned by his previous owners & when I moved in here & found him, I was told by neighbors he had been abandoned. I ABSOLUTELY fell in love with this cat & renamed him/her & since I was a "dog person", I ultimately fell in love with him/her. Anyway, the "Cat House" is just fantastic & you will NEVER regret buying it. Maybe Irvine will return someday.

This outdoor cat house is just okay. I bought it for a stray cat in the neighborhood. It was easy to assemble but isn’t incredibly sturdy. It’s also not exactly weather proof either.

Not sure about weatherproof due to it being spring, but it's a very nice looking cat house and easy to put together.

This product is well built, easy to assemble and a great cozy spot for any smaller pet. My cat is around 12 pounds and fits in with room to spare. As soon as I put it together he went right in. I would recommend this product. In fact I liked it so much I bought a second one for a different space.

Es sieht auch wertig aus und wirkt stabilDer Zusammenbau ist für eine Person, die leichte Arthrose in den Händen hat, doch nicht ganz einfach. Einen Punkt ziehe ich ab, weil keine transparente Folie für die Türen dabei gewesen ist und ich nun noch was dazu kaufen muss

Affordable, easy to assemble and wash.We have harsh winters and when we are absent while he’s out, our cat can go in his cabana to protect himself from the weather. It really is waterproof and the little faux-fur pad does it’s job at keeping it’s warmth. One of the best purchases i’ve made on Amazon!
