The image on Amazon shows the US socket on the top face of the 3-pin plug.This is what I was looking for, and selected over competing products.The supplied twin pack has the socket on the bottom, which means a heavier 2-pin transformer might fall out, or become loose.

I bought a camera in the USA - and it comes with the typical 2-flat pin US charger.This adaper plug worked first time - the charger fits well, is held snug and means I can charge it from a UK plug.The design, materials and finish are excellent. I dropped on from 1m onto a concrete floor as a test - and it survived. In addition to the US, this adapter also takes the New Zealand and Australia plugs.I like these and would be happy to get them again.
