It doesn't give a 3D effect and it's made up of a cheap quality. I would not recommend.

I bought this as a gift for an adult star wars fanatic, to say the recipient was well impressed is an understatement! There were many to choose from but I was drawn to this one because of the 3 different interchangable acrylic plaques that can be used. The variety of colours is great, the light can be left to change its way through them all or you can use the remote to select your preferred colour and brightness. The light that is emitted from this is unbelievable, the recipient uses it as a reading light and even with the blackout blinds closed the room is very well illuminated. I would not be disappointed to pay full price for this item but I was lucky and got a great bargain in the sales before Christmas. Ideal for adults or kids.

The media could not be loaded.  Purchased for my little girl who is obsessed with baby Yoda. This is amazing. It's very easy to set up. Simply remove the brown backing paper and pop in the slot at the top. The charging cable is a usb one so can pop into any normal usb plug.Once set up you can alter the colours and also the effect of from flash, strobe, fade and smooth or you can set it on one colour.The remote also has 15 different colours that you can select if you want to set it on one. Whilst the gift is for my four year old I wouldn't give her the remote as it's a little complex for a small person however maybe in a year or two I would trust her with it as not too hard to navigate.The light also comes with an R2D2 and the round spaceship (I don't watch star wars)
