Excellent cans -- for an off-label use (wet-tumbling brass)
First off, these are really good quality paint cans, especially at this price point. I've read some of the reviews where folks were having difficulties with the lids either being too loose, too tight or the material being too flimsy. Fortunately, I've had none of these issues with the three cans I received. When I purchased these cans, I wasn't looking for something in which to store paint or some other liquid. Instead, I was looking for a replacement for the drums that come with the Chicago Electric rock tumbler, which I use to wet-tumble brass after decapping and resizing. The reason I wanted a replacement for the originals is that the rubber that the originals are made of often leave a thin black residue on my brass. So these hard plastic cans seemed like they'd be a good substitute. And with just a little light modifications, they're perfect!(See Photos) -- First, you have to remove the two protruding rings of plastic around the bottom of the can. I used a razor knife -- worked just fine. Then, you'll need two extra Chicago Electric tumbler rubber drive belts. Work each belt onto the drum, keeping them relatively straight and parallel to each other (about 2" apart) in the middle of the drum. Test the drum on the tumbler -- should work fine.I tumbled about 120 pieces of brass + 1lb of s/s pins, water and cleaner for a total of four hours. No leaks and, just as importantly, no residue on my brass!!

Nice paint cans
They seem to work well, and they will not rust which is great for long term storage of paint.

Great paint cans if they send the correct size. Received half-liter cans, instead of quart!
I had ordered several of these 3-packs in the past and really loved them. The snap-on lid is super air-tight and easy to press on when you need to store the paint. The cans are durable and do a terrific job of keeping the paint fresh. My most recent order, however, resulted in being sent the wrong size! The ones received are half-liter, not quart sized! See images. The 1/2 liter cans are designated 1/2LQ101B stamped on the bottom. These smaller cans are almost 3 inches tall. whereas the quart cans are just over 4.5 inches tall. Sending my 1/2 liter cans back to Amazon.

They won't rust and seal tight
We painted the interior a few years ago, and, as usual, had paint left over. Three days ago I got the can with the paint for the living room out to touch up some dings. The lid was SECURELY rusted in place. It took me nearly 5 minutes to open the can, then another 3 or 4 to skim the rust bits off the surface of the paint. Never again! These cans are perfect. The most obvious advantage is they don't rust. Beyond that, other features are just as appealing. When the inevitable run dribbles down the side of the can or fills the groove on the top of the can, just let it dry and it peels right off. They seal nicely. A bit of pressure at the quarter points on the lid will set the lid in the groove with a reaffirming audible snap. When you want to open it again, a putty knife or screwdriver will suffice. No need for a lid flipper.

Sturdy
I bought these because my metal paint cans kept dropping rust bits into the paint.

Tough to close but very good
I bought these to store ammo with silica packs and are the perfect size for the weight they will hold. The lids are tough to seat properly - best to put them on the floor or ground and put everything you've got into it. But they do seat with audible clicks all around. The fact that it's difficult to close them means they're probably sealing well.

Excellent to store left over paint
Quart sized empty paint cans are no longer offered in the big box stores, as of this review. After painting a room when half to 1/4 of gallon of paint is left I like to store the unused paint into the quart containers to keep it fresh for later touch ups or repairs. These containers do the trick. They are plastic and do not rust like the metal ones. It is also good that the ones that I purchased are made in USA. I have purchased these more than once.

pint sized not quart sized containers shipped
Was supposed to be 3 quart sized containers. Instead is 3 pint sized (1/2 quart) containers. Label on outside of package of 3 says quart sized but definitely not quart sized. The containers are great - well made, easy to remove lid, easy to put lid back on - if that's the size you want. HOWEVER, I need quart sized not pint sized. Bummer because on a different order I purchased the Gallon + Quart combo (both made by same company) and they are awesome (but out of stock until late this week). Having to return.
