Not very many books are available on Kanhoji Angre. Malgonkar has done great justice in bringing out the life exploits and achievements of Admiral Kanhoji, who during 1700- 1729 ruled the seas off Konkan coast against contemporary rivals like Dutch, Portuguese, English and Siddies patronized by Aurangzeb.A must for all Maritime historians

I read this book earlier and will do so once again. A great historical recreation by the author of Maratha naval history. there's much more to Maratha history than Shivaji maharaj.

Every Indian must know the story of Admiral Angrey. A beautiful account of his life and achievements. Loved it.

The book brings out little known facts about the great Maratha Admiral Kanhoji Angre.He had no sea faring back ground but with sheer intelligence & grit rules western coast.This book needs more publicity.

It's a good book on Kanhoji Angrey and his times. Enjoyed reading it. It gave me better perspective on western ghat and coast. It's high time we give him his due credit. He deserves in our history books.

As a beginner to know about Maratha Navy and Shark of Kokan "Sarkhel Kanhoji Angre" the book delivers perfect information. Pranams to the work of writer 🙏. There are some errors while describing but still you can go with it.
