I like this sewing machine light it is nice and bright when you get old you need things alittle brighter I use it on my Band saw and my scroll saw too I like the magnet I can move it to want ever machine I need it on. Thank You

UPDATED REVIEW. My original review I noted an issue with the flexible stem of this light. I was contacted directly by the owner of Keanmart (the seller). We exchanged emails and he immediately offered a full refund and a replacement light at no additional cost to me. I advised him a refund was not in order and I would be happy just to receive a new light. The new light arrived just a few days later. The issues with the flexible stem have been completely resolved. So here's what I like about this powerful little light.The magnetic base has a strong little magnet and that's important to me because I place it on wood working equipment. There's a lot of vibration with some of my equipment and this light is rock solid. The placement of the on/off switch on the base means I don't have to grab the light fixture it's self to turn it on or off. Very handy. The flexible stem allows for almost any positioning of the light. The 60 LED's make this a very bright light which was much needed. The new light stays in any position I place it in which makes it very versatile. I can easily maneuver it around my work piece. Unlike a fixed position light which may cast a shadow on the work piece. The (2) additional adhesive disk allow me to move this light easily onto other machines in my shop, big bonus there. Very happy with the new light and plan on buying more soon.The light arrived with the flexible stem loose at the magnetic base/switch. I see no way to tighten it. I can only adjust it into one position. Now I can only use it on one of my woodworking machines. That's unfortunate because the (2) magnetic adhesive badges that you can apply to any surface that give the light a metal surface to stick to. Would have allowed me to move the light to different machines. Was planning on buying 3 more. However I'm not risking it because of this issue.

Ok. So I've been using 5 of these at my various computer repair workstations, and I do very much enjoy them. They provide light right where I need it and when not in use are easily moved out of the way.Pros:-- The magnet is STRONG and that thing ain't coming off without a lot of force. I have rough cut lumber for shelving, so using the provided sticky-backed metal plate wasn't going to work for me, so I just screwed in some thin flat steel bars onto the underside of the shelves and now I can place these lights wherever I choose.-- The light is easily turned on and off and is quite bright.-- The gooseneck arm is easily manipulated and stays in place for the most part.-- These lights are easily moved on a whim and add light whenever/wherever you need them as long as you've got something metal to stick em to!-- Awesome small family business - they sent me a nice thank you card for my purchase - I certainly was not expecting that!Cons:-- They're a bit utilitarian. These are definitely function over form. But... the price is right nonetheless! They are after all a utility light and not a decorate fixture. It would be nice if they came in black, though, or silver. The white/off white base is a tad boring.-- If the lights were a bit inset into a housing, they'd cause less irritation to my eyes. I have to be very careful to angle the LEDs just right so that the light hits the subject and does not shine into my own eyes. Perhaps a small set of "barn-doors", or fins, or just a slight redesign with the LEDS inset into their housing could remedy this I suppose.

Bought two of these lights to attach to my large and small bench grinders. Since the motors are metal, I didn’t need the magnetic disc that came with the light. However the magnetic disc is a nice touch as it allows attachment to other machines such as my drum sander which is almost all plastic or aluminum. Neither of which would allow for magnetic attachment. To fix this I simply cleaned an area where I was planning to place the light with alcohol and adhered the metal disc where it would allow the flexible arm to reach. It works perfectly! I like the on off switch which makes it feel like an integral part of whichever machine I’m working with. I liked the brightness and flexibility so much, I bought a third light to use on my belt and disc sander. I simply move that light to whichever sander I am using. It is so easy to move, I can use one light for multiple machines. I would recommend this light to anyone needing bright light for work areas or machinery that may be shadowed by body position or obstacles in your shop. Even though I have a fairly brightly lighted workshop, Sharpening drill bits was always difficult as I always seemed to be standing in a shadow no matter where I stood. Doing precision work is now a breeze as I can finally see what I’m doing, These lights add the exact amount of light where I need it for more precise sanding, grinding, or cutting. Thanks for making such a quality and well thought out product.

Awesome amount of lite output! Wish it had a few more mounting discs in the box.

I've had these lamps for almost 2 years. They are just as bright as when I first received them and I'm writing the review now because I went back to my orders to get more so I don't have to move them to the different locations I like to use them. Right now I have one at work and one at home. I use both to enhance the lighting when I'm working on focused small detail projects. I've even used it when working on my truck. The magnet is strong and it stays where I put it, no matter what position I bend the neck into.

I could never have enough lighting for my Sewing Machine. This was perfect, the flexible arm is so easy to place in the right area and easy to move out of the way if necessary.

Use this on my wood lathe, sits directly over the headstock so it takes lots of wood chips and dust, still working like new since I bought it almost a month ago.Update, been using for almost 2 months now and light is still going, last bowl I turned split in half and knocked light on floor, broke glass cover off, but it still works!!! Going order another one.

Don’t buy this light. It is 110volts. Doesn’t work on our mains power.

Used it for extra lighting on my knifemaking grinder. Works very well, small, portable and gives enough light. Good value and I like it.

The strong magnetic base stays exactly where you want it and the flexible neck doesn’t move, even with some vibration. The 30 led model is bright enough for tools like scroll saws or drills, but it’s not too big to get in the way.
