As a wildland firefighter, I cannot give this lamp high enough praise. Light will cut through the smoke and get you on track to where you need to be. The rear flashing red light makes life much easier when working a fireline with dozers and other loud equipment operating, it's bright enough to let an operator know you're there without blinding them. Unless you want too, like if they're still getting too close, those riser lights cannot compete with how bright this headlamp is! Besides a good pair of boots, I swear by this purchase!

I love these lights on my fire helmet - working at the pump panel at night is bright and keeps the area I am working well lit. The only downside is that it can slide off the helmet whilst it is bouncing around the cab of the Engine

Illuminated great in most conditions. Fits fire helmet with no issue. Easy to install. Only issue is the batteries don’t seem to sit well inside the battery pack.
