Francis of the Filth

I love this Comedy Novel
Francis of the Filth is a fictional novel written by the infamous internet comedian George Miller. George Miller is known for his internet series “Filthy Frank” which I have been a viewer of for several years. The filthy frank show revolves around the fictional character, Frank, a persona portrayed by George Miller. The show is a parody of the “social media machine” and points out the idiocy in the culture surrounding social media. This novel explains the origins of Frank and how he meets many of the zany and lewd characters (often portrayed by George Miller himself) that he interacts with in the internet series. Some of these characters include: Pink Guy, a Man dressed in a pink fullbody spandex costume who only communicates through a random series of grunts mixed in with snipets english and japanese (George Miller being half japanese himself), and Salamander man, a man dressed in a white spandex suit with a green salamander hat who plays the recorder with his nose and only speaks with the word: “Nyeees”. Being a fan of this series the novel was full of references and new insight on characters that over the years I have grown to love. This being george's first novel was quite impressive for how easily his sense of humor and good storytelling translate over into written form. The comedy may be too offensive for most viewers but for those used to dark and offensive jokes, you will love this novel. Of all the books I have read in my life I’ve never found one that was as funny as this. However this book may not be for everyone. Many of the references that made me enjoy this novel would fly over a reader's head had they not seen the youtube series prior to reading. Another problem i experienced was a few pages falling out after my first use of the book. For this reason I would recommend purchasing the paperback version of this novel rather than the hardcover version (I had Purchased the Hardcover version myself).

There are few books in this world that can touch the heart, soul, and prostate of someone in such a profound way.
Imagine a story so timeless, so thought provoking, so spiritually awakening that with every page turn you could be laughing a deep belly laugh, crying on your knees, and violently coughing while vomiting all within just one chapter of said novel. This book, no... This experience is like nothing you've ever laid your eyes on before. If you've ever read the Torah, the Bible, the Quran, or any Buddhist texts you'll love Francis of the Filth. It's a book that extends past race, religion, and chromosome count and gives it's wisdom and knowledge to those who read it. I don't just recommend this book, I urge you to read it immediately, it will change your life. The only downside is that there's no audio book (yet?). I live in a small redneck village where I'm one of the few literate people in this town and it would be much easier for me to give others the audio book instead of having to read it to them. It's also very awkward when your reading it in public and you get to a really good part and start euphorically screaming, so if you get easily embarrassed I recommend reading it in the privacy of your home.

I perform sermons with this text.
Now, as much as I am a fan of the Filthy Frank culture, I'm going to give this a more serious review. This is a serious attempt at a fictional work by George Miller. As much as it is memey, ridiculous, and inspired by utter shennanigans and skits from his comedy routine, there is the overall attempt at narrative. As such, I have to put some criticism into what is accomplished here. Are we going to get a great epic poem of legendary proportions? No, probably not. Are we going to get legitimate trash pumped out onto the page for a quick resolution and cash in? No, not even close. This books biggest problems come from the fact it was self-published, and perhaps hastily put out by Joji himself. I counted two or three grammatical errors in the book, and potentially one or two spelling mistakes. That's pretty glaring to a serious reader. Though, that being said, this book conveys most of what it needs to fluently, and in a style that suits the Filthy Frank cosmos. The narrative is in there, buried in the shocking descriptions and wild situations. It's entertaining, confusing, and curious all at the same time.Just as well, the characters are treated with more depth. The skits aren't held fast as objects of 100% truth that must be included in the books, but often they are used in certain ways and brought into the book in sensible ways. The plot accelerates nicely, but it feels as though the final confrontation in the book is a bit nebulous. I don't think Joji intended for there to be a sequel, and I think that the book tries to establish the many possible ways in which the series could have gone, if it were to continue. There's a lot to say for it, and a lot of very interesting material.George created something special with his brand of shock humor, an eventual spawning of jokes and nonsensical characters that eventually spawned a lore and a wild fanbase. I think this book does the whole experience justice more than not. It could've been more finely polished, yes. But for all that being said, I'm glad we got this book when we did.I'll bless weddings, funerals, bar mitzfas, quinceaneras, birthdays, wheelchair races, and more using this book. You don't get to choose the verses, or when I stop.

It threw me into heat!
This book is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever read. The very pinnacle of homoerotic writing! The part where pink guy and Francis are stuck in the elevator on the way to the sea of torment and they can feel each other’s hot breath… I shiver in lust just thinking about it. 5 out of 5, and the book makes a good bog roll. Although I will say, the hardback tastes better.

Sehr spannend

Another masterpiece by the legend, papa franku, himself
I think ordering this book was the best decision of my life. This book is like the beacon of enlightenment in this dark, selfish world. After reading this book, I can now understand quantum physics, astrology, genetic engineering literature, and in general, the purpose of my life. My brain has expanded from 2.2 kg to 55.78 kg in one fortnight. Please read this book if you want to achieve Nirvana.
