please check trigger warnings, just incase🤍infinity stars🥹 dean’s character development across this series has me in a chokehold, honestly i couldn’t love this man more if i tried🫶 not just dean’s but also cat’s too, an absolute queeeen!👑i was on the edge of my seat, danger, suspense, angst, spice (so hot i was sweating), friendships🥹🫶, AH I JUST LOVED IT ALL SO MUCH💖genuinely, i want to attend kingmakers! even though i’d be scared🤭 sophie has created this vivid and absolutely incredible world in the kingmaker series, i can’t get enough! her writing is unbelievably addictive, i inhale her books completely! i’m completely obsessed with these covers, they’re so beautiful!😍 & the illustrations inside add such a richness to the story whilst reading.reading kingmakers really felt like home to me, forever grateful and amazed words on a page can have this much of an effect on me💖 one of my favourite authors ever, ilysm sophie!little sneak peak into the spy’s pov has got me very excited to read the spy, i wonder who it could be🤭 very excited to read the next book🥰tropes:• bully romance• bad boy x innocent sweet girl• angsty• damaged anti-hero redemption• hogwarts for mafia children• grovelling• spicy (🔥🌶️)• found family• mostly dual pov (with a few from the spy)

loved the narration of Antonio Turner, Gregory Salinas and Lilly DrakeDean and Cat are so good together. The chemistry was off the charts and they these characters made this story for me

I have read all of Sophie’s books and this was definitely my favourite. Dean and Cat’s story is amazing from the start. 100% recommend!

Sophie has blown it out the water again!!! I must admit that out of the kingmaker series this was the one I was looking forward to the most and it did not disappoint!!Dean and Cat had so much sizzling chemistry, it was literally smoking. The sex scenes were intense and steamy. I just could not get enough of these two and I didn't want it to end!I really loved seeing Deans character adapt and change as his love grew for Cat and in turn she responded more positively to him....it was really brilliant to see the push and pull between them!I can't wait to read the next book in the series, I have so many theories and suspicions about what is going on and I need answers, I am just so glad that Dean got the ending I was hoping for!Loved it 🖤

6 Stars. This. Was. Incredible. Full disclosure this is the first book I've read in this series, but I don't feel like I'm missing anything. This completely hooked me in from page one and not only did I fall completely in love with Dean but Cat...strong, special, wonderful Cat. The relationship dynamic had me sucked in as well as the secrets and cliques. I'm obsessed about finding out who The Spy is, I want to read every little thing this author has wrote until it comes out and I officially have a new obsession. So thanks for that I guess. I volunteered to read and review an early copy of this. All opinions are my own.

This is the most anticipated read from the Kingmakers series and it doesn't disappoint! Following on from the Rebel, Cat is having to live with the consequences of her actions and with only one person knowing what she had done - Dean. These two couldn't have started being further apart, but they bring out another side to one another that neither could have thought they needed, Cats innocence and Deans dark charisma are only the beginning. There is so much to say for this read its everything and more that we wanted! Sophie has a true talent for creating characters that grow with their story, transporting you to their world. the story draws you in with suspense, desires and oh those hot scenes!! but the characters make you stay with their honest reality and emotions that make them real. Cat and Dean have to be my no. 1 couple for the year! now just wait for the Spy!

OH MY GOD!!!I have been DYING for Deans book & Sophie Lark did not disappoint!!😍Sophie Lark is one of my favorite authors and with this book, she reminded me why with this book! The passion, the chemistry, the emotion, the mystery this book has it HAD IT ALL! 🔥Since that shocking ending in the Rebel. I've been so excited to see how Cat will handle this deal with Dean! I was wondering how the Sophie was going to weave their story. The Rough Bad boy with the shy mouse? But wow I loved seeing them both do some growing up & mature throughout the book with scorching hot chemistry. I loved the evolution between them and you felt everything that they were going through. Add in the passion, steaminess, and intenseness Sophie throws in her books it made it impossible to put down!It was amazing with a killer ending that just made me more crazy for the upcoming book The Spy!! Highly recommend this series!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️/5.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/6.I regret immensely not continuing this series after reading The Heir however I’m back to it and it’s been a blast.I LOVED this book so much. It had the emotion, the growth and the damn mystery of who the spy is. I mean when I thought I knew who it was, something is said and all of the sudden I’m 99% sure it’s another person. The secret is making me running wild with theories and while it can be frustrating, I’m enjoying it too.Cat is such a strong woman now, I’m very proud of her. To think I was frustrated with Cat’s povs in The Rebel. That changed real quick when I noticed why they were relevant towards the end of The Rebel. Cat went from a scared little girl to a strong woman and I loved her progression, her ups and downs but most of all I loved that she found herself and who she wanted to be. She is still the Cat from before but she’s also more now. Love her!Dean is a ball of emotion ( anger) in the beginning of this. He doesn’t know how to process other emotions besides anger because people let him down or left. 🥺Seeing him work on himself to be someone worthy of love but also someone who would appreciate other people and what they had to offer was everything. I loved how despite his prickly exterior he has a heart of gold and feels things deeply. So relatable!I loved how Cat & Dean discovered other areas of their sexuality, how they grew with each other and how they become adults.I loved everyone that appeared in here starting with Snow & Sasha. Snow’s conversations with Dean were one of the highlights for me. I cried. It was beautiful and emotional.I’m intrigued with Miss Boris and I have a theory on it.Again I’m 99% sure of who the spy is and if it’s really him, my jaw will be on the floor!I LOVED that Seb & Yelena welcomed Dean home! 🥹I honestly wouldn’t change a things in this story and that’s why its getting my first 6 star of 2023.Can’t wait to read The Spy!

WOW. I hated, like seriously HATED, Dean in the first two Kingmakers' books but by the end of The Bully, he became my favourite male character in this series. How does that happen?!? Sophie Lark's magical ability to develop characters insanely well, that's how. Cat's transformation in this book was also stellar. Sophie wrote about her trauma beautifully and the way Cat came to terms with her overwhelming guilt by the end of it is beautiful. So so sooo good. 5 stars.Read time - 5h 51minsReading sessions - 5

I met Dean in the first book of the Kingmaker series. I hated him. In fact I think I threw the book at one point because of what he did. Then in the Rebel he has a moment that was somewhat humanizing that made me think, let’s explore that I want to get to know him more and hoped he could be redeeming, but then he went and blackmailed Cat.I was not loving Dean at the beginning of The Bully, I had all the feels. It starts off with him blackmailing Cat because he knows her deadly secret. Thankfully Cat is strong enough to be the person they both need.Cat and Dean are electric in the Bully. When the tension builds and breaks the chemistry they have is off the charts. During some parts I had to go get ice water to cool myself down, talk about spicy. What I appreciated about the book was Cat didn’t do anything she truly didn’t want to. Dean pushed her boundaries and she reached out to her sister and opened up because she was enjoying the dominance. She starts off in the previous books as shy, but her character growth shows she’s a total freak in disguise. She also knows when to walk away.I love a good redemption story and that happens towards the end with Dean, and his relationship with Cat, his cousin, and family. Dean’s journey is one of love, and what that means to love someone.Also, If you’ve read the book Snow in the Underworld series, you’ll appreciate his appearance in this one. I didn’t think I could love that character more,then he got older and became a mentor to Dean. Swoon!
