Good alternative to cable. Good reception, even without amplifier.
Nice reception in our area, even mounted in the attic and non-amplified. Try it without the provided amplifier first, then with the amplifier only if reception is not acceptable or you need to be able to rotate it for multiple transmission tower locations. I didn't need that, as all local broadcast TV is from one mountain west of our house. I ran the provided cable from attic down to basement, to a splitter/amplifier in my Leviton home run box. This allows me to switch TVs in selected rooms to the antenna instead of cable, which is really only needed in a few rooms. I was able to MacGuiver a cheap mount with a short piece of 1-1/2" grey plastic electrical conduit and a couple of pipe clamps left over from another project.

Best on the market
It is easy to install, works very well and gets the full 120 miles when placed at the right height. Lightning can hit it and run in just as with other antennas. If it does hit, it will knock out the antenna. Recommend get two so you are prepared.

easy to install
Delivery was fast, the price reasonable. I found that it does not get the amount channels like another brand I had purchased but the picture is clear and crisp.

Did not work while placed in the attic
Bought this antenna because it was supposed to to work outdoors or in a attic. I placed it in attic of a building , got 1 Channel. Waste of money .
