The site says XL but I received an XXL. They are seriously large gloves. If you have small hands, forget about this item. Quality appears to be good though.

The Arres XL BBQ gloves are great gloves that fit well and hold up to the heat of my grill and smoker. Much better choice than traditional cloth grilling gloves because they are so easy to clean, especially after using them with the smoker. You can pick up the food and if you get rub or sauce on them you just wash them in the sink or dishwasher. The extra long cuff makes sure you won't burn yourself as you reach over a fire or into the smoker cabinet. I will be buying another pair soon. Highly recommend this item.

bought because of review for being extra big,, fits better than others I've tried but not that overly large,,(snug but can wear), but feels like will tear every time I pull them off,, bear claws are useless for me,, only can get 3 fingers in

My husband takes them to the grill when he is smoking or grilling. Also when he is ready to slice the meat he uses them to hold the meat with one hand and carve with the other. I put them right in the sink with soap and clean them then stand them up to dry. I've also put them in the top rack of the dishwasher and came out perfect, but they did have water in them, so be careful emptying the dishwasher.

The work for moving the grill grates around but a little too big for much else.

Have been looking for days for serious grilling gloves, both locally and online. Most either do not offer enough protection, or the online descriptionsare inadequate, or they are outrageously expensive -- until I came across these. They are all silicone, palms and backs (some descriptions leave you wondering). Yes, they are XXL, and are quite large -- Arres probably has smaller sizes, but the XXL was the only size on Amazon Prime.Plus, you can't beat $20 for a PAIR at this quality!

I bought these gloves for my husband being the expert he is with grilling and smoking. He smoked a turkey for thanksgiving and got into the smoker several times to baste the turkey. He used the gloves which made it much easier to maneuver the turkey pan for basting. He commented that they fit well and work great. Good product.
