Very easy to apply. No harsh smells!
After watching some tutorial online, it was very easy to rewax my Barbour jacket. No strong chemical smells, as it seems it is just wax without harsh chemicals. Blow dry at the end for a more even result and remove excess wax with paper towels. Great results.

Barbour is waterproof again!
Wax is easy to apply, low odor and my second-hand Barbour is actually waterproof now!My coat hasn't been waxed in years, but the 200ml tin is more than enough to do the whole thing. I'm doing it in stages as it's taking many hours. You can see the difference between the waxed front and the unwaxed sleeves!My method has been to apply a thick layer of wax (cold) in small circular motions with a cotton rag. Apply liberally around seams. Then heat with a hairdryer on high, until it looks wet, to help it soak into the fabric. Let it cool slightly then wipe off any excess. Repeat as needed. The rain just rolls off now 😁

Small tin is enough to do a 3 quarter length jacket
It takes about 30 min to do a coat, but the end result is good.

Large tin Just covered large coat.
My coat looks great with this wax finish on it. It is shower proof but an hour in really heavy downpour the other day eventually soaked right through. To be fair the cotton coat I waxed was not waxed previously so one more tin should do it. I'm not even 100% certain wax coats are 100% waterproof either.Whatever, waterproof or water resistant this product goes on well.I will buy again.

Does what it says on the tin.
Easy to apply when warmed up? Using a hair dryer to helped to get a really even finish. My Barbour was transformed from a vey pale tired green to its original lustre.

Did a good job on the whole
I used this to maintain a wax jacket and also a flying jacket. It did a good job for the price and quantity. I would recommend regularly placing it back it warm water, in case it cools down too much. I would also make sure you check the quantity you've ordered. I expected to be sent the same size as in the picture, whereas it was the size of a shoe polish tin.
