Disney's Countdown to Christmas: A story a day

So we read a story every single day, yes I may have heard one or two of the stories before in the past but that's really not that big of a deal. They are all Christmas themed which is nice. And I see there was actually one for Christmas day and not just the day before. I thought we were done on Christmas Eve. The kids enjoyed all the stories. It definitely doesn't have as many pictures but if it did the book would be much thicker. But it is similar to their really big story book where there's just little pictures on there so my kids are already used to that. if you're looking more for a picture book I would say go with something else, but if you are fine with a couple pictures but mainly a storyline then this is a great book. I like that it has the green ribbon to mark our spot for where we are. I am very happy with our purchase. I thought the stories in there were very sweet and I was okay with the pictures being small in the words being small. It didn't seem to bother my kids at all.I hope my review has been helpful. We read a lot of stories in our house—sometimes a few dozen a day. I bought the book to be something different for the holiday season, hoping it would be well done, and I’m very pleased with the book and how we were able to use it daily. One story a day for the month of December, ending on Christmas day. Each story takes up two-sides of a page, revolves around a different Disney property, and the mix of characters was good enough to keep everyone in the house happy. This became a cherished part of our holiday routine this year—and I’m looking forward to it coming back out for years to come.

This book is really cute. It's Disney so what's not to love. I got this for my daughter for her birthday which is towards the end of December. She loves to read and be read to. We waited until December 1st to start and read one Christmas story each night which counts down until Christmas and even has one for Christmas day. It is full of Christmas themed stories for not only princesses, but Wall E , Aristocats, a Bugs Life and more. It's a short story, each one is roughly two full pages but the print is small so it's a decent read for bed time. There are pictures scattered between the two pages so along with reading the story you can see some pictures with it. Since the print is on the small side the book isn't thick at all but it is hard cover, brightly colored and definitely a hit in this house. I'm glad I purchased it and my daughter is too.

I bought 7 books and gifted them by 12/1 to add magic to my nieces/nephews/grandchildren's Countdown to Christmas. I got a picture from each family with the parents reading to them yesterday (12/1) and the kids listening intently. It was magical and just what I had in mind when I gifted them the book!

This is a cute way to count down to Christmas day and it's a cute book. The stories are short and good for a quick read for an impatient, restless two year old. She loves to "read" books to herself but is impatient when she is read to so the short stories are helpful for me. The hard cover is also nice to have. I'm glad I purchased it for my child's Christmas Countdown.

Great book. Great for Christmas

An adorable and fun Christmas count down that’s great to read to just your kid or as a whole family . Stories are very cute !and it’s a nice ‘advent calendar’ idea that doesn’t involve chocolates/candy or a bunch of silly Knick/knacks but rather valuable time spent together :-)

Loved the idea of this book to run alongside an advent calendar.25 different short Christmas Disney stories....great for us as this is our first book like this. I have however read that if you have already bought a book like this that some of the stories are repeats.Really lovely book

My 4 year old loves this book and I found it is a good alternative to advent calendars filled with chocolates. All our favourite Disney characters are in it, I highly recommend it.
