Great for the 28oz. Blender Sports Cups!
I recently started drinking smoothies for meal replacements and needed reusable bigger straws because my normal ones were either too thin or too short. So in my hunt for bigger straws I bought two different ones from two different companies. I took these straws out of my cart and put them back in about four times and finally said "screw it" and got them anyways, and I'm glad I did! The other ones I ordered were wide enough, but they were way too short to go in my taller bottles. These fit perfectly in my 28oz Blender Bottles, and when I say perfectly, I mean perfectly. They don't stick out of the top of the bottle really far (which is what I was worried about), they stick out about 1.5-2 inches from the opening, which is perfect for me. Of the two wider straw brands I bought, these are very stiff, so there is no bending or folding of these (my other ones are flexible) so if you're looking for a straw that went let you manipulate it, these are not it. I believe these will actually break if you try to bend them. They're made of like a hard plastic material (they feel like the lenses of cheap sunglasses.. smooth but very hard). Overall Im pleased with this purchase and I do recommend them. Once I switch devices I'll post some pictures

Gets the Job Done: Replaces Disposables
I recommend these as a simple way to avoid using disposable straws. Cheap and effective.I've been looking at various types of reusable straws and these are by far the simplest out there. They are basically the disposable straw strengthened for reuse: they are hard plastic instead of soft, rigid instead of soft, and relatively odor/flavorless -- the same as you'd expect from any straw found with your fast food. They are wide enough for boba, without being "too big" to get good suction. There are three reasons I can't give this product five stars: (1) they can't be used to pierce the plastic that some tea shops use, because all three straws are flat on both sides. (2) They don't come with any sort of cover, suitable for taking them with you when you go out. And (3) they come in the very sort of disposable plastic wrapping that many buying reusable straws are looking to avoid. I was torn about dropping a start, because the first two aren't the seller's issue: the straws are exactly as shown in the photos and I didn't expect a carrying case or bag. But the environmental unfriendly packaging pushed my internal score just under 4.5/5.

It is plastic, but it is reusable
I do like my purchase, I wanted wide reusable straws to be able to drink boba at home. I already had straw cleaners for my tiny metal reusable straws, so I use that to clean them, although they do clean easy in the dishwasher. I didn't realize it would be hard plastic as I am trying to reduce my plastic usage, I thought it would be squishy silicone. However, I will keep using this until it doesn't last me any longer and then I'll just recycle them! I do recommend these but I would definitely prefer a plastic-alternative.

Tapioca/Boba lovers, rejoice!!!
Great quality, works very well with boba/tapioca drinks:1. Boba/tapioca and other mix-ins (like coconut jelly or red bean) go through this straw well.2. They are long enough to cut diagonally at the bottom (I didn't want the straw to be flat against the bottom of my cup) and still have plenty of straw to drink from 24oz. cups. I used a serrated knife.3. I run mine through the dishwasher (top rack) and they clean up well. No residue or smell. When I don't soak or rinse right after using the straw, I will use a boba straw cleaning brush and some dish soap to clean it.Works well with a silicone cover I got for my insulated stainless steel 24 oz. tumbler.

Supports my bubble tea habit
I bought these straws to use for bubble tea, and they work well for that. The diameter of the straw is appropriate for boba. With the flat ends they won't poke through the seal on a bubble tea cup, but I used a paring knife to cut one end of a straw to about a 45-degree angle and that created enough of an edge to be able to poke through that plastic seal. It was a little difficult to get a clean cut with just a paring knife, it's probably easier to do with a larger tool. For as often as I drink bubble tea, I'm happy to have good reusable straws.

good quality, good price
These straws are perfect. I haven't had them for long but they seem very strong so I don't foresee any issues in the near future with wear and tears and they're long enough to fit into my 24oz smoothie tumbler. The hole is big enough that there's no issues even with extremely thick smoothies either. The only negative is that because they're so long they're hard to clean, but any straw would have that problem so it's not an issue with them.

... be more eco-friendly and conscience of how much plastic waste we use
Wife and I decided to be more eco-friendly and conscience of how much plastic waste we use. In addition to purchasing reusable produce bags, we looked into getting reusable straws. We aren't huge fans of metal straws - sometimes you can really taste to metal - so we went with silicone. These are absolutely perfect! We purchased these mainly for drinking boba and they serve their purpose well. I love that it comes with a cleaning tool so you can get all the nook and crannies, let them dry, then reuse again! Since purchasing these straws, we have significantly reduce the number of plastic straws we use.

Great For Smoothies and Wide-Mouthed Tumblers
So far, so good. We've been using our straws with the Vitamix Smoothie Tumblers and they fit perfectly. The straws are extremely rigid and feel like they'll hold up over time. I haven't tried drinking bubble tea with them yet, but I can't see that being a problem, given that the diameter at least matches that of a boba straw (it might be even a hair wider). If you make a lot of smoothies or shakes, I can't imagine a better straw, really. I would choose this over steel, glass, or paper any day.If you're just drinking thin liquids, you might opt for a smaller diameter.
