Well made - doesn't take up much space
This is my first espresso machine. The directions (2 solid booklets) are very detailed - easy to learn. This machine seems very solid, made well, not flimsy. After 3 days, I've gotten the hang of it and the coffe is wonderful. So far, no problems with either machine. My son, the barista, thought the price of this machine meant it would be poorly made and that to get a good machine, I needed to spend around $1000. That doesn't seem to be the case. He was pleasantly surprised. I really just needed something small that didn't take up much counter space.

Entire family loves this machine
Purchased this for husband for Father's Day. Initially he would not let anyone else in the family use the machine. After playing barista for a month he decided to train us all to use it lol. He is particular about allowing folks to use it, not because it's difficult to use (because it is not) but because it is his baby. We purchased a small thermometer to put inside the milk when we are frothing. My daughter and I use oat milk and he read this can burn easily so we monitor the temp closely when steaming. There are ways to control the brewing, I don't know all the details but he is able to make adjustments if needed. The glider is nice to have so we can freshly grind out beans. The grinder does overheat pretty easily. It is nice it has a protective mechanism built in, but it is a little annoying it takes a while to grind a full hopper because of this. Highly recommend this product.

Good machine
I've had this machine since March 2023, it's now December 2023. The steamer wand started leaking while the espresso was brewing so I called the company and they sent me a refurbished machine that seems to be working well.I keep wash clothes next to the machine and wipe it down each time I use it. I think that is an extremely important think because espresso machines are touchy.

Obsessed with my coffee bar
Definitely worth the money. This expresso bar is great especially for first time owners I would definitely recommend buying this. It definitely saves money and it grinds the coffee beans pretty well! Comes with a tamper, a spoon & a little cleaning brush

Do not purchase!
DO NOT PURCHASE!I ordered a Gevi 20 bar espresso machine in May. By June, the steam wand was leaking significantly, causing a loss of pressure when making espresso. An email communication between Gevi and me began then. After I sent the requested photos and videos of the broken machine, they responded with numerous email instructions on how to literally take my machine apart to fix. This is ridiculous (and would break warranty instructions which say “don’t take machine apart”).After multiple email communications they finally agreed to send me a refurbished machine.Unfortunately that machine was broken too. It had no pressure at all (and I made several attempts using different coffee, etc).I am STILL in email communication with this company to return the two machine and get a refund (per warranty)

Great Coffee Great Price
I labored over buying a home espresso machine for quite some time because it's such a tricky balance:The affordable ones (less than, let's say $350) are often lame and the expensive ones (over $500) are, well, expensive (and often require fancy maintenance). This Gevi machine has really come through! I make coffee for my neighbors and co-workers. It's already paid for itself in less than a month! The grinder is great. I do have to shake the hopper occasionally to get the beans to fall but it's fine for the price. And the espresso maker works perfectly! Really happy!

Another cheap, unreliable espresso machine
This is my third expresso machine The first a gift, the second I purchased when the first failed, and the Gevi, mainly because it was inexpensive and after the failure of the second machine, I thought it's either spend a bunch or go cheap and expect disappointment. The machine is pretty flexible with shot size adjustment, has a hot water outlet, and while everything is manual, it's still intuitive. The instructions were good for a cheap machine and the cleaning cycle was straight forward. Best part, it worked pretty good. My wife and I drink about 4-6 cups of espresso a day in total. We serviced the machine when due through cleaning and descaling for the espresso maker and regular cleaning of the grinder. We also use only filtered water. The grinder is idiosyncratic, but useable as the user becomes familiar with it. After about 3 months, a drip started out the frother wand during brew. Over the next couple of months the drip increased and the pressure dropped. It did produce good espresso when it could hold pressure. The fact that it has problems 4 1/2 months in, the low rating. That rating will go lower if the warranty isn't honored. So, I hoped for reliability, but got what I expected.
